Description
Ever get mad about how court wizards (and everyone else) don't carry enough soul gems? They might be alright for enchanting a weapon or two, but if you're trying to level up in enchanting or recharge all the things you stuff in your pockets, then you're out of luck. Going out to your nearest Nordic Ruin might be fun, but you're not gonna find many soul gems there either.


This mod aims to fix that. Court wizards, general goods stores (i.e The Pawned Prawn), the merchants of Riften and of Windhelm (and Falion) now carry four times the amount of soul gems they did before. On top of that, random loot from dungeons and such now contains three times more soul gems then it did before.

It is important to note that those at the College of Winterhold carry roughly 5 times the amount of soul gems.

Requires no DLC!

I'll tell you what upsets me about the town wizards and College of Winterhold - they actually don't carry much for mages! A couple of robes, some books and scrolls but NO circlets, necklaces or rings of any kind to boost a mage's or any character's stats - some expert enchanters they are: heck, Belethor carries more than they do!

I'm not mad at having wizards not having lots of soul gems. It makes the point of exploration to other cities to buy other gems, or go to dungeons and fight for them.

Here's an idea. Add a recharge to soul gems. take your grand soul gem that has a petty soul inside and recharge it with another petty soul to turn it into a lesser soul. or a lesser to turn it into common or common to greater or greater to grand. i dunno if its possible but its still an idea, im no good when it comes to creating mods but im a great source of ideas for mods.

still, a mod that directs sized souls to the proper size gem would be a boon. If thats possible.
