1. Introduction
I picked Druid for this build, because its the best choice for a Lightning and Cold damage oriented caster.
2. Gear + Grimtools link
Grimtools (no greens): https://www.grimtools.com/calc/qNY5957N

Since this is a build without rare MI's it should be rather easy to get all of those items.

Updated so we not only have >80% stun res, but also ~80% slow res. (If you have a bad slow res roll on the trousers you can put one or two more points in conversion.)

Combined with over 3k OA, over 2k armor and enough DA (~2800) for most bosses this is a solid caster build.
3. How to level up and distribution of points
Skill Points:
For leveling you should get Olexaras Flash Freeze (OFF) and drop it later on at level 50-70ish when you feel like it doesn't do much damage anymore. Its one of the best AOE skills to clear trash mobs with. Also get Trozan's Sky Shard (TSS), since OFF doesnt affect bosses this will be your main attack. Get one point in Mirror as soon as you can, it can be a real life saver during boss fights or other critical situations (running through aether stuff etc.).

Attribute Points:
you can and should go full physique!

Devotion Points:
where to spend points (+) and drop points (-) in the right order:
Cross Pink (+)
Jackal (full)
Cross Purple (+)
Empty Throne
Cross Purple (-)
Cross Blue (+)
Lizard
Tempest
Quill
Cross Green (+)
Chariot
Cross Green (-)
Widow
Hawk
Amatok
Ultos
Behemoth (3 points to heal proc)
4. Skills and how to play with this build
Offensive Skills:
Your main attack is (quite obviously) Trozan's Sky Shard (TSS). Also we use Storm Totem to have no downtime in dps when TSS is on Cooldown. We use Wind Devil with the modifier Raging Tempest only for Resistance Reduction (RR). Star Pact for Cooldown Reduction (CDR). Elemental Balance for Crit Damage and increased Electrocute / Frostburn Damage.

Defensive Skills:
Wendigo Totem for better survivability, Mirror of Ereoctes for 3s of invulnerability, Mogdrogens Pact with Heart of the wild for more health, Nullification for removing your own debuffs and debuffing enemies.

How to play:
You want to be running around casting TSS whenever its possible and if its on cooldown you use Storm Totem for Damage and Wind Devil for RR. You should always cast as many Wind Devils as possible, resistance reduction is very important in this game. We also have another source for RR in this build, which is the proc Arcane Bomb from the Widow devotion. Make sure to bind this to TSS, so you have resistance reduction on your main dps skill as well.
Mirror of Ereoctes is the best panic button in the game, it grants 3 seconds of invulnerability, needless to say you should be using it a lot.
For quick heals you just use Wendigo Totem and stay near it, as it heals you x-amount per tick / per second.
5. The End
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed my guide.

If you're having as much fun in this game as I do make sure to rate this guide and add to your favorites, this would mean really much to me :)

Anyway, if you have any improvements, ideas, suggestions, etc...
let me know in the comments.
6. Important stuff for newer players
1. Get your resistances up
2. Use components while leveling
3. Armor absorption should be as high as possible (100%)
4. Survivability >>> DPS (always!)
5. Focus on only one or two damage types
There's a lot more to it, but I'm sure you will figure it out :)

@fuzzle Gear wise you want to be looking for items with good resistances and DA, the main difference between this fully greared endgame build and a selffound variant built with items you find along the way should only be a lesser damage output. So it is playable when u have all resistances capped (overcapped!) and enough DA + Armor (absorption as well), it will just take you longer to kill stuff.
Every legendary item I used adds some skill points and/or lightning damage, so you should be looking for equal items, as I mentioned in the guide, these items are not very special and can easily be traded for.

So far so good, you give an overview over skills and endgamegear. What i'm missing is a little sidestep what you should focus on itemsstats. If your not got all those pretty legendarys. Like is this build playable as selffound?

I just updated the build, probably even might add some vids later on.

Trap res is not that important since there is only BenJar who really gives you a though time and when hes alone you can basically face tank him with wendigo totem + mirror.

The kinda low slow res is the bigger problem here and I probably should fix it. Slotting in Tranquil Mind trousers seems like a good improvement.

Similar to my druid but a few differences such as use of wendigo totem and fewer points in overload and maiven's. I enjoyed that character a lot but found that it couldn't really do top level stuff. Do you find that the low trap resist causes you problems?
