Not compatible with my vassal dev limit mod, if there is demand I can combine the two into one mod.

Does the AI understand that the AE has been limited and therefore can take more provinces in peacedeals, or does it stay the same?

Though my testing has been limited, it appears to be working correctly now and has been updated. Please let me know of any issues you encounter or if any persist. Someone previously mentioned the AI not taking provinces, and while I have not experienced that myself, I would like to know if anyone else does.

After a quick look some modifiers have been changed and there are a whole bunch of new ones based around peace deals specifically. I will look into it and updating this mod after seeing if this does indeed lower AE on peace deals and make it go away faster. I do like to keep the mod semi-balanced as I do not want to simply remove AE from the game, but with all the modifiers that's become a bit more difficult. Will post when updated should it be better.

Hmm, to be honest other than updating per patch I have not done much testing. It's possible after all the changes they have recently made it is causing issues with AE and coalitions. I can check the defines and see if its possible the mod is simply "broken" in some fashion, but if I cannot find an issue in the mod files themselves I might discontinue the mod. Sadly documentation is quite poor on some of these modifiers and such and it has become a pain to keep up with it. Thanks for letting me know!

This mod makes ae worse! in my Netherlands run I fully annexed Brabant in my independence war. I got a massive coalition which I peaced out via console that kept firing every time the 5 year truce was up! With the mod off nobody cared about Brabant!

I will look into it sometime if I have the time. Might be something to do with the new update or conflicting mods. When it comes to AI decision making, I have no way to really see or influence how it works under the hood so if a recent update has made these changes cause the AI to freak out I will have to change it around some.

I'm not sure if the mod if this mod is the problem or if it's a specific combination from mods I'm using, but peacing out gives the coalition icon and says that every nation will be joining one. They don't actually join, but I think it's causing the AI to not take provinces.
