Nuke Outside Smokes from T-Spawn

Simplified outside smokes that land every time with a jump bind

First, a jump-throw bind

In order to throw these smokes perfect every time, you need a jumpthrow bind.
If you already have one, skip to the next section.

The code is as follows:

alias "+jumpthrow" "+jump; -attack; -attack2"
alias "-jumpthrow" "-jump"
bind "<your preferred key name here>" "+jumpthrow"

You need to make this into a config that can be loaded into your game. This is pretty easy to do.

First we're going to find the config folder for counter-strike.
The file path should be as follows:

 C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg

Once you're there, create a new text document.

Insert the code for the jumpthrow above and nothing else. Make sure to pick a key!

Now you want to save the text document as a config that csgo can read. Click on "save as", select "all file types" from the drop down menu [by default this will say "text document (.txt)"], and save the file as "jumpthrow.cfg"

Have saved the config, make it an auto exec with these simple steps:

1. In your steam library right click on CS:GO
2. Click "Properties"
3. Click "Set launch options"

You will then see a small box that you can enter text in. Enter this exactly:

 +exec jumpthrow.cfg 

If you named your config anything else you need to be sure and use that name instead.

And that's it! When the game launches it will bind your key to the jumpthrow and you will throw perfect smokes every time!

First smoke (Red Crate side)

In T-Spawn, run to the truck on the right hand side. Line yourself up with the left most section of the bed.


Next, place your crosshair between the bottom of these sets of windows.


Equip the smoke, hold mouse1, and push your jumpthrow key.

Thats it!

Second smoke (Secret side)

This smoke is a bit more tricky, but is quicker to line up than the standard smoke for this position, and this prevents any gaps in the smoke.

First you want to jump onto the yellow crate by the fence in T-Spawn


Once you're on the crate, push yourself into the corner between the fence and the building.


This is the tricky part.
Face the fence and jump. You should be able to see the yellow ladder leading to the roof of lobby.


You want your crosshair lined up with the left side of the ladder.
At the top of your jump, your crosshair needs to be even with the roof of lobby. It should look like this at the very top.


once you've got it lined up at the top of your jump, (this may take a few jumps to line up--be sure to give yourself enough time between jumps to reach max height) let yourself land back on the box, but don't move your crosshair at all!

equip the smoke, hold mouse1, jumpthrow.

If you kept the lineup, you should reach the top of your jump and again line up in the correct spot. if not, there may be a gap in the smoke, or it could miss entirely. Be sure to make sure your team is aware of the possible gaps in the smoke wall!

Perfect Wall!

If both of these smokes are thrown correctly, there should be a seamless wall between the red crate and the entrance to secret, allowing your team a perfect entrance to the lower bombsite!


There is still potential, however, for someone in heaven to see heads of players walking too close to the fence, so stick close to the smokes and maybe even drop a few flashes onto the other side of the red crate! (don't flash your team)
