Rune Magic Reference Sheet

Visual reference guide to make learning, using, and memorizing Rune Magic combinations easier.

I made this for my own quick reference, but then went a bit overboard on the visuals after deciding to share this.

I personally throw this on my second monitor when I play, so I can just glance to the side to not screw up my runecastings.




This uses images and stats gathered from the game's wiki.
I will likely not update the numerical values should they ever be changed in-game, as this is meant to be a rough reference for casting your spells.

Certain combinations do not have official icons, and as such instead have similar icons or edited icons for reference clarity.

Followup to my point. Cast your rune on the ground. Wait till your opponent triggers the trap, then cast shim +shim before the effects wear off to cast the second detonation.

I wanted to let people be aware. Runic detonation is not limited to simply detonating the rune on the ground. Once a creature has detonated it by walking over it you can quickly cast detonate to get a double effect. Not sure if folks didn't realize this. Its quite fun watching larger groups walk into it and then get hit the second time.

@cross eyed, it will detonate twice if you use Runic Detonation properly.

It would take me a while to figure this out, I never really understood the casting combinations thing. Is there a way to download this ?

Might seem like a letdown, but it really does make the game easy mode once you get it.
