That's because there's a total of about at least 20 DOOM Wads: 2 Enhanced Ports of the PS & N64, 2 Freeware WADS, 4 Demo/Shareware WADS, 14 Commercially Sold WADS.
The Common DOOM WAD is Shareware which comes in two versions: A Full Version that you would buy and a Reduced Version. So if you liked the Reduced Version, you can buy the Full Version.
Next is Freeware DOOM WADs, and Freeware WADs are Full Versions of DOOM WADs.
The third, is Commercial DOOM WADs which has no Shareware Version, if you wanted the WAD, you would have to order it from Local/Online Retailers or Digitally. Sometimes there's a Demo Version of a Commercially Licensed WAD maybe out there but its not very big.
