How To Play The Definitive Edition Through Steam (sort of)

Introduction:

So here's the thing, assuming you have the Definitive Edition on Epic but you want to use it on Steam, upload screenshots and e.t.c. to Steam, to do that we are gonna copy all of the Definitive Edition files to the folder where you have Season 4 installed and by using the simple .exe launcher (that you would also need to put in Season 4 folder) we are gonna make Steam launch Definitve Edition instead of Season 4. You might think that easier would be just to add the game as a Non-Steam game, but with Non-Steam choice all the screenshots you would make would only be visible to you and your friends on Steam, but by using this method you would be able to upload them right to Season 4 community Screenshots!

P:S Don't worry Definitive Edition don't have any DRM in it so if you have launched the game through Epic Games atleast once you won't even need to launch it from Epic Games anymore, so there would be absolutely no reason in launching both Epic and Steam at once to play it.

Instructions:

1. Locate the place where you have your TWD Definitive Edition installed
   
2. Then locate your Steam Season 4 installation folder you can find it here
   "Your Steam Folder"\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead The Final Season\
   
3. Delete the Archives folder inside your Season 4 folder.
   
4. Now copy all files within your Definitive Edition installation folder to The Walking Dead The Final Season folder (would be great if you have both games installed on the same Local Disc, otherwise you would need to free quite a lot of space for it)
   
5. Now copy this file[drive.google.com] to your The Walking Dead The Final Season folder aswell, and overwrite it with the original WalkingDead4.exe file.
   
6. Launch the game through steam, if it all worked right Steam would launch Definitve Edition (by thinking that it's Season 4)

Well you obviously need to own Season 4 on your account and also installed for it to work, and yes you can do it with other games but you would need a different exe file, the one i gave here is only for Season 4.
