The mod creator stated that he had lost interest in EUIV also Paradox did a large graphical coding change with 1.29 which broke most graphic mods. Only chance this mod has of updating is if mod author regains interest in the game. This was by far my favorite graphic mod considering I think Vicky 2 looks 10x better than EUIV

The brightness seems a bit to important, is their a way to lower it?

Alright, I meant to do this earlier but I was moving to a new place and it took some time to set up the wifi, so I've uploaded a new version of the mod for 1.29 called "gfm3" to dropbox and posted it in the description. If you ever have problems with keeping this mod updated, the basic way to do it is: replace parts one at a time, starting with the newest version of Better UI as a base. The files in gfx/fx are what tend to cause the crashing, so you can use notepad ++'s compare function to update those by hand. If I can figure out how to update via the normal methods then I'll try to keep the mod more up to date but as I've said before I've kind of lost interest in this game so I'll make no promises.

@Sk0rge you might want to try this:

-If you get a credential error when attempting to upload a mod make sure you have something in the description section - you can simply put your current description from the workshop here. If your workshop description is to long for this then update the mod with anything in the description box and then add your full description later.
-Remember to select "Steam Workshop" in the "Upload a mod" tab, since "Paradox Mods" is not currently supported.
