Western Canada map

Descrição
This is my first map/mod for civ VI so please tell me what you think about it! :D

A map of western Canada

I tried to put the correct resources in (oil in Alberta ect..) and every province is a different continent

Includes Vancouver island and most of Manitoba.
Had to break up the rockies with hills sometimes just to make it passable

TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT THINK THE FLAG IS A TAKE ON THE AMERICAN FLAG:
It isnt a american flag its the flag that people have made up that stands for the free country of western Canada, apperently ther's a some people that want a revolution and this would be the flag (;

Albertan here... hold a referendum right now for Wexit... It passes. Just look at the world today. Total chaos... and people love it. People would absolutely vote to exit Canada just to see what would happen. I clicked on this map just to see the comments. Love how a world builder map in Civ gets a political commentary. IMO, time to exit was in the 80's. That generation couldn't get it done.

Thanks @shortfatsteve I thought I was going crazy for a bit there lol, but its my bad of including the territories, I shouldnt have made them in this map as they arent apart of wexit

There are a lot of Wexit flags. Look 'em up. The one included here, designed by Deviant Art user Xumarov, is explicitly based on the American flag, inspired by the Republican (not the party) model of government made famous by the American Revolution. You know the one, no taxation without representation. Also, many settlers to Alberta and Saskatchewan in particular came here via the States, so have roots and even family in the US. On my dad's side for example both my grandparents, born and raised in Alberta, are children of Americans. The stars and the stripes represent the 4 provinces (each province gets a red stripe and a white stripe I guess) that the dreamer who made this flag think will secede if given the chance. And the mountain represents the Rockies, obvs.

If 'Wexit' were to actually happen it would be more like Alberta + Saskatchewan as a land locked entity. Politically B.C., Manitoba and territories are not on board. Its as simple as looking at the election results per party in 2019, and every other election year before that.

@Ianval Im dumb lol I am born and raised in Alberta and my Dad used to say how for financiale reasons people wanted to separete. and as for the island thing im just really dumb lol, on been to the island once and forgot the name (and we just reffer to it as 'the island') sry about that.

It is Vancouver island, not Victoria Island. As for "a bunch of people", nope, just a small group that are destined for disappointment... For what it is worth, I'm from Manitoba.

It appears to be stylized-based on the American flag. Is this intentional?
