How to SAVE AND LOAD in Subsistence

Listen to the explanation in the video and/or read the explanation below if you want to learn how to go back to a previous point in Subisistence, that you would like to restore:

On default most install Steam on the C drive in the Program Files Folder, Personally - as shown in the video - I have it on the D drive, in the Games folder. But let's say you installed it on the C drive at Program Files, then the path to your saved games is at:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Subsistence\Binaries\Win32

So if you are at a good point in your game, that you want to save, then you simply mark all 31 .sav files (the server files don't need to be included unless you are playing on a server of course) and make a copy of them into another folder, or more easy: Just compress the files to a single .zip or .rar file. and keep it where you want.

If the progress turn to catastrophic failure, for example if you still keep all you items in your inventory and then you die, and fail to pick up again the backpack, but all of it despawn. This is situation you wish you could turn back time and save hours or even days of gameplay.

And if you simply move the zip/rar file to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Subsistence\Binaries\Win32 again and chose "unzip here", you get up a dialogue box that ask if you want to replace all the 31 files, you just press "Yes to all", then you can start up Subsistence and you are back to the point where you felt thing were going fine, and you have all your items intact and can continue the good work, until you find another point you want to save in a zip-file to potentionall restore if something really disapointing happen again.

You Fralkin kids! I sat here a 15-20 minutes or so to explain the method I'm using, to try to HELP in case others didn' know. So spare me from the "useless" crap and dozens of "!". It's so funny how people talk like shite to me on internet, because I can PROMISE you you wouldn't had such a "touch guy attitude" if you met me face to face. Glad for you I'm an nice guy, but I have to worry, some day you meet the wrong guy, and they are going to slap you face because of all the rude stuff pouring out. Have a really nice weekend!

Totally useless info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After Program Files(x86) is where you find it. Common is there but once you click on it. You are taken to (Steamworks Shared). And that's as far as his description takes you. It is not possible to continue with his description to go any further to Subsistence\Binaries\Win32
