Hey, putting this here because the creator of the shotgun fix disabled comments on his mod.
The shotgun sound fix conflicts with Left 4 Bots or Take Bots's Items making it impossible to trade out throwable and health items. Was hoping someone could sort this issue out.

normally extensions are hidden on windows so you probably had the file named autoexec.cfg (the .cfg part shouldnt be there if the extension is hidden)

nope that wasn't the problem it was that the cfg file was exec autoexec.cfg
it was exec autoexec

If it doesn't show up your autoexec file is on .txt format it needs to be in .cfg format

well 1 there is no exec autoexec only exec autoexec 360 and it says it couldn't exec it

try typing exec autoexec on the console

probably just me but the mod just dosen't work i don't know what i could have done wrong because i confirmed the file change and its in the right place i don't know what i have done wrong

Just delete the "autoexec" and the "config.cfg" that will reset your controls and camera

If I want to return to the default, would I have to uninstall the game or do I just delete the files and the mod and go back to normal? (also thanks for the answer and help)
