Cannons didn't work for this plane as I made an internal structure much different from what I usually use.
On my other planes, it can be seen that most of the components are connected to a large ballast found inside the fuselage. On this plane, there are more blocks than a single large ballast. For example, there is a Piston RTC mechanism in the rear part of the fuselage.
Because of this, connections are not as strong, and therefore aren't adequate for cannons of a somewhat high power.
I'm also too lazy to add some recoil mechanism on the wings, and it would make the blockcount skyrocket.

Very good looking. Also may i ask why the cannons didn't work?
