save game corrupted possible fix

If you happen to encounter the situation that occured to me and your game crashed during saving settings (in my case I just adjusted the sound volume) and the game shows that your save is faulty. Here is how to resolve that issue

If you start your game and it looks like this

You can press yes and then exit the game or just Alt+F4 out of the game BUT
DON'T LET THE GAME OVERWRITE YOUR SAVES.

Instead go into C:\Users\<USER>\Documents\Rockstar Games\L.A. Noire\Profiles\<Profile_ID>\L.A. Noire and delete the file: prefs.lanoire

Upon the next start that file will be regenerated and the game will be able to access the save files.
