Bambo The Deer

Description
Bambo the deer from "Deer Avenger" game franchise .
____________________________________________

Attention! This is not a playermodel. It's only a Ragdoll. If you want Playermodel of him, find someone who'll make PM out of him.
____________________________________________
He has two skingroups and bodygroups for bullet belt.
He also has bones for:
ears, bullet belt, backpack, bandana bits

He has several facial features that go outside his face. Like handsome muscle flexing.

His eyes are not separate model - they are part of his body and are also not round.
So to pose his eyes, you need to use face poser.
eyes have directions as: up,down,left,right.

He's difficult to pose. So take his upper torso, freeze it, then disable gravity on him to do the rest of posing.

I recommend using "Ragdoll Mover" and "Advanced Bone Tool". Just search it in workshop, you'll find them.

After 2 months of learning the exact version of blender 2.79b - I was able to fix it.
Thanks to some people who gave me directions from who I need to learn - I was able to port him into Gmod.

I only fixed the model and ported it, but the knowledge I gained is thanks to many people both directly and indirectly. Thank you. It was a long journey from broken non T-pose model to proper rig with proper UV maps.

Edit: want to elaborate on story of the model fixing

I had to find .DFF importer for blender, but it was specified for GTA, not Deer avenger. And only specific ancient .DFF plugin worked, not new.
So importing result was a broken bone data and pre-posed model (not T-pose).

I had to manually rig and redo whole positioning of each polygon (fingers were crushed because of fist pose, so I had to manually restore the possible past position of each polygon.)

Then I saw that both legs, arms are asymmetrical because of exaggerated action pose.
So I had to cut certain model parts in half, copy, mirror and sew them together.

Then I decided to add face posing. I made careful polygon cut in his lips, so they could be shut without moving teeth (both lips and teeth had same polygon points, moving together)

And eyeball adding wasn't an option, because it would look too different on him and optimizing new eyes would take a lot more time, compared to adding flexes on eye polygons to create motion in them.

Now I want to take a break.

Feel free to edit however you want. Maybe you'll be able to create HD version of this model. I would love to see it.

Holy shit, I didn't think Deer Avenger would ever get on here, it's so niche and old. Great work!

@fulltilton Awesome! Yet, there needs to be some manual bandana, hair bone editing, for less stiff looks. And I see that fingers bend way too much, which something I can't fix myself either. All because the very original model has it's own odd animations and proportions, compared to HL2 default skeleton.
But still, it's awesome thing you done!
I recommend you to upload it on workshop.
Or download link from some file sharing site, like google drive, mediafire, ETC.
