MAGE'S TRAVEL CHEST: Comes with: Armored Mage/Monk Outfits, Iron Chef Outfits & weapons, Heavy & Light Armor Presets

Description
****************************
WHAT IS IT?
****************************
The Mages Travel Chest: A chest full of Mage & Monk outfits, Iron Chef outfits & weapons, and Light Armor & Heavy Armor Presets. The Mage & Monk outfits have all had a Light Armor rating applied to them. There are close to 120 items total in the chest, and all are either light or heavy armor. You can choose from 28 Preset outfits or select individual robes, hoods, boots, & gloves. All of the items are upgradable at the 'Armor Crafting Table'. The Light & Heavy armor sets are stock vanilla from the game, so they can be upgraded like normal. If you already have a set that's you've upgraded you can replace the set in the chest and it will be available in the menu. It has to be the same exact armor though. For instance, if you have a set of Orcish armor that you've been upgrading. You can put them in the Mage's Travel Chest and when you select 'Orcish' in the menu, your armor will be equipped. It won't work with variations of the armor, such as the different flavors of Steel armor. It has to be the same as what is already in the chest.

****************************
WHERE TO GET IT:
****************************
When the mod is first enabled and the game is launched, you will see message asking if you'd like to 'Receive It Now' or 'Purchase From Riverwood Trader'.

If you choose to 'Receive It Now', the 'Mage's Travel Chest' along with the 'Mage's Outfit Qwik-Change' token will be added to your inventory. The chest inventory will then open. This done purely for programming reasons and you can close it by pressing the <Tab> key.

If you choose 'Purchase From Riverwood Trader', the chest will be place in Lucen Valerius' inventory at the Riverwood Trader, where you can purchase it. (the Qwik-Change token will be inside the chest.) You will need to open the chest by clicking on the 'Mage's Travel Chest' in your inventory, then click on the 'Mage's Outfit Qwik-Change' token to add it into your regular inventory.

**********************************
HOW TO USE IT
**********************************
After receiving or purchasing the items, you'll see the [] in your inventory in the Armor section. Just select it by clicking on it and then exit the inventory. This will cause the chest's inventory to open allowing you to retrieve and/or store your outfits (you can also store any other items there). Alternatively, you can assign a hotkey to the chest (make it a 'Favorite' then assign it a number key). This will enable you to access it without going into your inventory menu.

These are all dual wieldable.

Removed hooded robes and added outfit 'Presets'. There are 9 presets, each consisting of a hood, robe, gloves, and boots that can be equipped with a click of a button. The [] token, when selected, will pop up a menu that will allow you to choose your outfit for an instant change. You can choose from Hoods, Robes, Hooded Robes, Misc.(boots and Greybeard items), and Remove. The Remove button will let you remove any of the items and place them back in the Mage's Travel Chest.

*********************************
TROUBLESHOOTING
*********************************
Updates to this mod should are quest driven so they should go smoothly. An update message will appear telling you that it's been updated. You'll need to re-hotkey the token (if you want it hotkeyed, that is). The travel chest isn't removed or replaced during an update, so your stuff should still be there.

If the menus don't respond after repeated use, just give it a few seconds. There are a lot of array searches and iterations going on and some procedures take a few seconds. This is especially true when you are storing things back in the chest using the menu as it needs to cycle through all of the items and determine which ones aren't equipped so it can store them.

If you change outfits a lot, then you will start to get outfits stacking up in your inventory causing a weight gain. Just store them back in the chest either by using the menu or by opening the chest and manually storing them.

Clean Mod Install:
!!! WARNING !!! PERFORMING A CLEAN MOD INSTALL WILL CAUSE YOU TO LOSE ANY UPGRADES MADE TO THE GEAR IN THE MAGE'S TRAVEL CHEST.

If you want a clean install, start by disabling the mod, launch Skyrim, make a new save, close Skyrim, and re-enable the mod. This will put everything back to its original condition.

Clean Mod Install Details: Launch the Steam Skyrim launcher, click on 'Data Files', and un-check 'Armored Mage and Monk Robes' mod. Close Data Files and launch Skyrim. After the game loads, save the game and exit back to the desktop. Go back into Data Files and enable (check) 'Armored Mage and Monk Robes'. Then launch the game and load the latest save.

For those who don't want to update this mod because you've upgraded armor from the chest and you don't want to lose the upgrades, you should 'Unsubscribe' from this mod. After you unsubscribe, open the Skyrim Launcher and wait for Steam to finish updating your current subscriptions, at which time this mod will be disabled. When it is finished updating open 'Data Files' and re-enable this mod. This way you can keep using the old mod without steam updating it and overwriting your files.

Yes, I've always felt that mages got the short end of the defensive stick. I haven't worked on this mod for a long time even though I use it daily. There are a few glitches here and there, mostly with the Iron Chef outfits. I'll work on it again soon and see if I can de-glitch it.

I've always wanted to be a mage but there was never good armor. Thanks for making this.

@Commander Nature
You can run the game in windowed mode, using one of the wide screen formats. To do this, run the Skyrim Launcher and click on "Options". Put a check in the box for "Windowed Mode". In the choices at the top, click on "Aspect Ratio" and choose one of the widescreen formats. Then, click on "Resolution" and set it to what looks best on your screen.
