If anyone would like to continue working on this project, or something similar, contact me via discord NoteMEdown#4176 and I can send you all the assets from this game ( All the card templates .psd files )
And this is a very good idea for combat, feel free to try that way of doing things with your friends, and letting me know how it feels!
And lastly, ill try to clear that up in the rules, thanks again for the great feedback
- You could add tokens either to represent cleared rooms or to represent trophies placed on medium rooms at the start of the game. Could help to see what is cleared or not.
- Shuffle your ability deck, play a card, flip it, place it on the deck then flip the remaining card and place it. Doing this every round is kinda bothersome and a bit clunky. Maybe you could draw the entire ability deck, play one unique ability every round and have to play all hero before drawing back the ability deck (I hope that I'm clear ><). It could add some strategy and planning during players fights, knowing which hero may attack and which one you should focus.
- I see you have used the base structure from Isaac: Four Souls, but you haven't really explained it in your rules. It isn't clear how to read a card and what attack rolls stand for.
It has some very interesting and unique mechanics, fun when fighting 3 of your friends.
