Modern Unit VS Traditional Unit

描述
This mod makes Shogunate side clans can only build traditional dojo and Imperial side clans can only build modern unit building.


Warning : This mod may be very unbalanced
Shogunate side clan may fall very soon or you will see samurai spam (I didn't check long term campaign play)


but I tried to make it more balanced...

1. traditional dojo provide traditional unit recruit cost discount and XP improvement
2. samurai unit can be recruited in 1 turn except shogitai
3. modern infantry unit building also has cost discount effect but smaller than traditional dojo
4. artillery buildings increase unit accuracy
5. city and castle become cheap and quick to build(to make building slot quickly)
6. levy musketeer and wooden cannon are removed. (except garrison)
7. Gatling gun can be recruited from tier 2 artillery building


I edited unit_table so you need to subscribe this sound bug fix mod

btw... Don't choose independence Republic after Realm divide. you may not recruit both modern and traditional units

The Shogunate side still recruit shogitai line infantry and artillerty, is this bug?

Can the levy musketeer please be at least returned to imperial forces - it would still suit the theme.

@leovx Theoretically yes. change every infantry unit as line infantry in db/building_units_allowed_tables.

You could make a simple faction effect for each playable shogunate faction to have -1 turn to recruit shogunate units. That way no need to edit unit tables.
