A some-what useful guide to killing machines
By peep
This guide will tell you how to kill all of the machines in the most compact and helpful way (I can) tell you. Also, this is my first guide so give me feedback and more information as I will try to be as best as I can with this. I will not be updating this guide, but if you would like to, you can add tips and tricks into the comments for other wanderers to find.

Introduction
Skip past this if you do not feel like reading this and/or you just wanna get to the juicy stuff. This game is extremely hard on your first time so do not worry as once you read this, you should have almost no issues killing these machines. I got this info from playing the game quite a bit and experimenting with a little skill called Spotting Intel. What this skill does is it allows you to see the state of the machines health in a fight. I also, encourage you to put in the comments any other information, tips or anything I may have gotten wrong in this guide.

Ticks
They usually only take 1-2 shots in the beginning. As you progress through the game, they will start appearing with armor plating, making them more of a pain in the ass. I wouldn't recommend trying to go out of your way when fighting Ticks. If you can take the shot, then take it. You can also use the FNIX ticks against Harvesters towards the end of the game. (Sorry I was too lazy to get a picture in game for this)
Seekers
Seekers are literally super easy to kill yet they can still be a pain. Just shoot them to be honest. If you don't there is a chance you will get swarmed. They can be one tapped by most rifles if you hit them in the face sensor.
Runners
The best way to go about killing runners is by shooting the fuel tank on the back. Alternatively, you shoot the face sensor on the runner. I personally use a revolver when taking on runners as it is precise weapon 98% of the time. For this definitely, shoot the back fuel tank.
Hunters
Hunters in my opinion are the most threatening enemies in the game. They have extremely powerful weaponry and are pretty much as fast as you. So you have to be smart when fighting and/or shaking them off. They are bullet sponges and they will make you waste a decent amount of ammo. Regardless, shoot their gun, and then shoot the vents and face sensor to finish them off. When their gun is destroyed, they are then into full melee mode. Also, its rare that you can actually dodge them so honestly pick your poison.
Harvester
Fighting a Harvester is literally the most fishy enemy to fight in the entire game. It could either have a few hunters patrolling with it and/or runners with it as well. It also drops plenty of decent loot most of the time all of the time. The Harvester likes to call in reinforcements like Hunters or Runners depending on the type

Strategy: Get Flares or Other Throwable Distractions, and throw them somewhere else. While everything is focused on the funny flare, tear up his missile launchers and keep your distance. Focus on the Hunters now and leave one alive with whatever ranged weapons he had broken. He will usually have a blade that he will pounce from above. Run towards the sound and he will miss. Leaving one Hunter alive will keep him from spawning more reinforcements.
Tanks
The Tank is a machine that will be one of the most lengthy fights in the game. First you should take out the guns as it is its primary way of attacking you. After that, it should only have its concussion blast and tick dispenser left, so keep your distance. Just shoot its front armor plate as shown in the picture to finish him off. If you feel like flanking and doing more damage then go to the back and shoot his tick dispenser and fuel tank.
Lynxes
These little ball thingies roll around and every time I encounter one there is always 12 more so I avoid them. Shoot the Ball they roll on, I also feel as if they do a lot more damage than the FOA equivalent. Pick them off one by one and don't overpeek, re-peek the same angle or be out in the open fighting these.

Weapons to Look Out For:

Burst Rifle

Multi-Grenade Launcher

Flamethrower
Wolves
These bulky things are really annoying and I try to use them as much as possible in assisting me with Rivals. Their prolonged rocket barrage is really useful against cancer enemies like the Harvester or Tank. This enemy transports those Lynxes so if you are taking one of these on. Take out the Lynxes First far away from the Wolf.

Its weakpoints are the Missile Launchers on the sides, the Minigun under the body of it, the back when it is in Standing Mode and the ball on the front.

Strategy: Avoid it. Just kidding. Take out the Lynxes first then the minigun and missiles. Then damage its other components and nice you win lol/

Weapons to Look Out For:

Gatling Gun

MIssile Launcher

Gas Dispenser

Transported Lynxes

Healing Barrier which Heals ALL Russian Machines.

What about the other flying machines? The big ones.

This is better than my old strategy of blindly pumping whatever I see with lead until it dies. Instead of pumping whatever I see with lead blindly, I'm going to pump whatever i see with lead, but in a certain direction.

Its nice to look back and see everyone commenting their strats so this is basically a 4 year archive of the communities different ideas.

Here it my method of killing hunters (Especially FNIX class) First off try not to be seen in large areas as there might be a ton and they can kick butt. Second pull out a sniper to get a head start and damage vital components. Once they see you it is best to switch to a SMG or Experimental weapon (If you have one) and start rushing them. When they charge at you run away to doge the melee jump attack and open fire at their tick tanks or blade (It depends on their class) And if needed on the verge of death, Which you really shouldn't need to; use a launcher to finish it off. Then repeat this to take out massive armies of hunters or just one.

As for the hunters, rare to dodge them? Do you mean dodge a combat initiation? Or do you mean dodge their melee? Because I learned very quickly to destroy the bots weapons, but if you're talking about dodging their melee attack I actually don't think I've ever been hit by it? I just run into them when they start to jump then you can 180 and annihilate their fuel tank usually killing them instantly after having already removed their firearm.

i wanted to ask how would you deal with the flying S.o.B's? lol though i found use a strong rifle don't be in the open and watch out for their airdrops often armed with a heavy gun or most recent i saw was a heavy canon. I mainly aim for the ball sensor, or just punt the 4 rocket/jet engines with a rifle until they break and it should go down rather easily, or just pelt with rockets and machine gun fire

a pretty good method to follow for wolves is to sneak up behind them and just blast the hell out of them, make sure you focus on the lynxes it spawns first cause wolves are big doofuses that cant really move so quick, and even then they take a while to get moving or get their pathfinding straight so just take chunks out of them (go for the missle launchers first) from behind at a close distance after taking out the lynxes
