RS Cricket -105mm

Unveiling today is the RS Cricket up armed with a 105mm cannon, originally the Cricket hull was built for offroad conditions in the cold regions of The Empire where roads are nearly impossible to maintain thanks to large amounts of snow and constant drifting conditions...

The Cricket is propelled by a pair of B-grade Torque Jet engines. While cheap they can easily propel the machine across snow and frozen lakes at 135 kph. They could in theory push it to an excess of 400 kph however it was decided speed was not a huge factor, and would rather have the ability to climb anything without control loss... The engines won't put out excessive speeds but they give it a tremendous power to weight ratio to the point It is capable of going up a 90 degree cliff, so long as the skis dont get stuck.

After the Cricket was in service for about a year, it was decided it would be given some armament packages to help defend the cold areas where other machines would routinely get stuck or bogged down. In this case it has been armed with an x10 105mm anti tank gun which is pushing the platform to its limits as is. The cramped turret has narrow optic capability, poor ammunition storage, and must be reloaded by the commander since the turret only seats one... but It does as listed... It sports a gun nearly strong enough to roll the RS while shooting sideways and Its light enough to not destroy its mobility.

Thanks to the skis its tempramental in climates that are not barren frozen wastelands... however the thrusters will propel it over any smooth terrain that won't catch the skids. Aside from sand not agreeing with the engines it does make a good desert off road vehicle... Though it lacks an air conditioner.
