Achievements Guide

All achievements are able to collect in one playthrough, but I recommend you to just have fun playing it first time, with completely not looking at achievements.

Master Marksman

Score 30 or more points in the shooting gallery.

You can get to shooting gallery only through main menu by pressing Arcade and then Shooting Range.


Tip from me: Pick up the ammo and put it in front of you so you have 45 ammo more without taking a break.

Master Water Collector

Take John's bucket to the end of the game.

You have to carry bucket all the game long.

The bucket appears at the beginning of Chapter 1: Through the Cracks. When you fall into the cave, and you don't move your mouse, bucket is located at your left.



If you lose it you can load save when you had it and still get achievement.


Note: This bucket is not related to the achievement.

Weather for Ducks

Let the ducks swim in the Fisherman's bath.

Easiest and probably first achievement you are gonna get.
You have to pick up 5 ducks and throw them in the bath.

Locations of ducks:


3 in the bedroom

1 at the living room

1 in the bathroom

There are 2 more but you don't really need them.

Well Hydrated

Dispense all Arque Water bottles.

There are 3 water vending machines. You have to dispense 20 bottles from them.

1 of them is in the Chapter 2 in the Arque Corporation building (the one before you go to the rails)

It's located in the biggest room of the building.

Just walk up to it and press E multiple times. You should get 7 bottles of water.

2 and 3 vending machine is in the Chapter 3 in the building that you get into after you escape from cell.

You can't miss first one, it's on the left side of hallway where you are later attacked by Sokol-Glockner guard.

You should get 8 bottles of water.

Second machine is right after minigun stage.


You should get 5 bottles of water.

After taking 5th bottle of the last vending machine you should immidiately gain achievement.
If not you probably:

• started a game from chapter II
  
• didn't take all the bottles from machines
  
• missed one machine

Deadly Fisherman

Get 5 headshots with a firearm weapon.

You collect your first weapon in Chapter II in the forest in small wooden house.

Then just shoot some zombies in the head.
Also you can complete this achievement later in the game.

Tripping Hazard

Remove a tripping hazard by creating a slipping hazard.


You have to take all the cons(21) and throw them into the dump.

They are located in the last location of the game(satelite).

Two Birds

Kill two infected with headshots using a single bullet.

It's actually harder than you think.

I think the best place to obtain this achievement is the small wooden house near river(Chapter 2).

You get a weapon there for a first time.

There are 2 waves with 2 zombies each.
When you pick up the gun, first wave will start. Second will start after you kill any zombie.


When you stand on this bed zombies can't reach you, so you can wait for them to stack in doorway.

There are 2 zombie types, male and female. You want to get 2 male zombies, because your sight will be at their head height.

Their playermodels are random, so you can get mixed zombies in first wave. If so, kill the female zombie. With some luck, male zombie will spawn in the second wave.


When you finally get 2 male zombies, that are stacked in doorway, you can get off the bed, line up with them and simply shoot.

"You Monster"

Shoot an innocent bird from the sky. (Why would you want this?)


Again, the best place is the small wooden house near the river(Chapter 2).

Remember that you are attacked by some zombies, so zombies first, and then birds.

There are couple of birds flying above the house, few of them really low, so you can easily shoot them.

Flushed Away

Flush 10 items in the Fisherman's cabin.

In the begining house, in Chapter 1, you have to throw any item to the toilet and flush it.


When you're done with it, just press 'E' and it will dissapear.

Repeat until you flushed 10 items.

"Barista": Just clean the table... I did it by taking the cups and throwing them out of the left door, where I came in. Thats´s all - the solution showed in the youtube-video of "JohnMcGuire" is far too long. :D

I was able to get the "Two Birds" achievement right away in warehouse horde mode. I just kept moving and once the waves start to ramp up they stack up as a matter of course as they chase you between obstacles.
