Reforms will take 3 turns to cooldown & researches point cost is 3/5 of the vanilla cost. Currently looking for a new maintainer.

This mod was first released about a year ago and wasn't updated until now (June 2020). This was when I first started publishing mods, and wasn't really aware of what kind of committment was needed to maintain one, let alone all the variations (1 turn, 2 turns, 3 turns, 4 turns). So I'm currently looking for people to take over the maintenance of one or more of these, since they need to be maintained to keep working with the new stuff. Modding newbies welcomed to apply, I can teach you what you need to know. Send a friend request. Racists, sexists, TERFs, nazis, and other bigots need not apply.

No change to how long you have to wait before picking your first reform. No change was made to research speed bonuses, or anything else for that matter. I don't know if the AI will modify its behaviour in function of those new values.

Works for both player and AI.

How Researching Works
In this game, there are 2 kinds of technology acquisition methods that we will call "reform" and "research". Reforms are technologies you get as soon as you pick them, and then have to wait a number of turns before picking the next one. Researches are those that you pick, and then research for a few turns before starting the next one. Researches can be accelerated by gaining "research rate" bonuses.

The time required to research vary by technology. Internally, it is stored as a number of points and the number of points you generate each turn is equal to your research rate. So 100% means 100 points per turn, 125% is 125, etc. If after finishing a research you have excess points, they are discarded.

This mod works by reducing the reform cooldown and the research points costs by the same factor for everybody, which is why even the 1 turn mod still has researches taking more than 1 turn at 100%.

Below you'll find details of change for Yellow Turbans factions starting in 190 and Eight Princes factions. I didn't added the new factions since then because this level of detail in the description is a big reason why I didn't want to update the mods.

The only table that was modified was technology_nodes.

Ownership of my tech speed mods has been transferred to xSlake. See the description for link. I will not be updating these mods anymore, and I have unlisted them from the search results.
