THE EVANGELION GUN - YOU CAN (NOT) UNSEE

I dont know if nobody noticed, or if nobody cares, but there is an "NEON GENESIS EVANGELION" skin for the P229, wich is used by the japanese operators, or the "Weeb Squad" as I call them.

A VISUAL COMPARISON:

While some think the skin could be inspired by the purple tentacle from the game "day of the tentacle" I found more similarities to "EVA UNIT 01" from the anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion" (as shown above), but cant argue with the idea that the name "Tentacle" could be a reference to "day of the tentacle".

There are far more skins, that resemble pop culture, in Rainbow Six: Siege and I may take a look at those in a future guide.
