5) See if you have an actual virus that interferes with registry files causing this problem. A quick scan will be enough.
6) If you are not using an SSD, you might be trying to install over bad sectors. A disc check up will identify & isolate them, so you can install as normal.
7) If all else fails, i'd assume you have less than 2h of gameplay and can ask for a refund while you figure the problem out (if you want so)
PS: some players report that running the game in window mode fixes the crashing. I think borderless window counts as "window mode"
PS2: It appears a reddit thread have a fix for some issue with intel CPUs. Give it a quick look if you are using an intel.
1) you need to double check minimum hardware and software specs. Besides that, make sure you have at least ~10GB of spare space after install for windows to do their thing properly. Sometimes your graphic card might be more than powerful enough to run a game, but not having a specific new tech (like Vulcan) to operate a game made for it.
2) you then need to update your graphic card if you haven't done so in a while. This has fixed a lot of issues for me in the past. You may or may not need to update your windows in order for some dll files to be placed in registry.
3) Try right clicking on the game icon and running it into compatibility mode and try various settings like Windows 7 and run as administrator, some times this works.
