The truth was that while Atlantis dominated the Atlantic, the Mediterranean and the Arctic Oceans, The Lemurians Dominated the Pacific, Indian and the Great Southern Ocean. It was war between them that ultimately sank both sub-continents, leaving only a few scattered islands from both as reminders.
