I would not upgrade the mod.
DST was going to be very complex and the program code of the mod is too old...
I would stop to upgrade the mod, or I would create a new mod like it.

You can enjoy the play of RPG flavor.

USAGE:
Simply equip the book.

Since it is a kind of an amulet, you would be better to use "Additional equipslots" together.
You could equip an armor and a backpack and the book at the same time.

GETTING EX-POINT, LEVEL, AND YOUR STATUS:
Whenever you eat some foods, the book will get some ex-points according to the food's calorie.
Getting more ex-points, the level of the book will become higher.
According to the level of the book, your status will be upgraded as following.
- Hunger: your hunger + level, upgrade cap = 250
- Sanity: your sanity + level, upgrade cap = 250
- Health: your health + level, upgrade cap = 300

!!! The following character's status are not upgraded with this book !!!
- Wolfgang: Health, Attack
- WX-78: Hunger, Sanity, Health

You can "inspect" the book to show it's level.


KILLING BOSS TROPHY:
You will get some trophies, when you kill the following bosses for the first time.
- Treeguard: +6% attack damage, Chopping trees faster
- Spider Queen: +6% attack damage, Stun proof by a tiny damage *1
- Varg: +6% attack damage, Protection and loyalty *2
- Ewecus: +6% attack damage, Walking faster near enemies
- Deerclops: +9% attack damage, Med cold proof
- Moose/Goose: +9% attack damage, Walking speed penalty free (ex: Piggyback, Marble Suit)
- Bearger: +9% attack damage, Auto-repairing of equipping armor and weapon
- Antlion: +9% attack damage, Canceling sanity drain of equipments (ex: Dark Sword, Night Armor,...)
- Klaus: +12% attack damage, The drop rate of Krampus Sack increases to 20%.
- Dragonfly: +12% attack damage, Fire free and Med heat proof
- Bee Queen: +12% attack damage, Tiny health regain
- Stalker(forest): +9% attack damage, The book glows in darkness.
- Stalker(cave): +9% attack damage, Armor Piercing *3
- Ancient Guardian: +12% attack damage, Material needed to craft will be halved(=green amulet)
- Toadstool: +12% attack damage, Reducing spoilage rate of the foods in inventory
- Stalker(atrium): +12%, Lord of the world *4

* The upgrade cap of attack damage is 275%.
Common characters will have only max 250%. Wigfrid will reach there.

*1 Stun proof by a tiny damage...
For example, when you in a Log Suit get a spider's attack, although you get 4 damage, your action is not obstructed.

*2 Protection and loyalty...
- Followers(ex: Abigail, Shadow Puppets, Pigs,...) get strong damage absorption.
- When followers kill an enemy, it is added up as achievement of you.

*3 Armor Piercing
You can avoid enemy's damage absorption. (ex: Slurtle, Rock Lobster, Toadstool,...)

*4 Lord of the world...
You can employ a Skeleton in the following procedure,
1. It is in night or in cave.
2. Assemble a Odd Skeleton with 8x Fossil Fragments.
3. Give a Telltale Heart(not Shadow Atrium) to the Odd Skeleton.
--> A Skeleton spawns and he will follow you.
He breaks according to the following conditions,
- It is day or dusk.
- His HP is 0.
- You unequip or drop your book.
- You loguout.
- You use a Sinkhole.


ANOTHER TROPHY:
1) Boomerang Master
Making 20 catches of boomerangs successful without failure.
- Attack range of a boomerang become longer.
- It's maxuses become 100.

2) Frozen
Beinging frozen 10 times from enemies.
- Attack range of a ice staff become longer.
- It has strong freezing effect.
- It's maxuses become 100.

3) Sweet Yum
Eating an Waffles.
- The drop rate of Butter increases to 15%.

4) Moon Walker
Counting 70 mornings in the Lunar Island.
- You can craft a Eclipse Orb. You can turn time to night, casting spell by Eclipse Orb. This effect continues till the next day.
- The recipe of Eclipse Orb is as following,
. 4xMoon Shard + 1xMoon Rock by Celestial Altar -> 1xGlassy Sphere
. 1xGlassy Sphere + 1xThulecite by completed Ancient Altar -> 1xEclipse Orb
- You can use a Glassy Sphere for the battery of Mushroom Lights.


DEATH PENALTY:
When you die while equipping the book, the book takes the following penalties.
- It will lose a half ex-point.
- It will lose all trophies.


RECIPE:
1x"Papyrus" + 1x"Feather Pencil" + 1x"Spear", under the SURVIVAL tab, using an Science Machine.
