i just confirmed the issue with drones not working after dust storm is over. power off/on solves the issue. the drones are still linked just idling around.
regarding the repair issue: repair in any thinkable way was not possible. destroying and building a new one worked nicely. i did not check if "rebuild" works.
Hope your having fun still ... and stay safe :)
I'll admit it's been almost a year since I last worked on any Surviving Mars Project.
I'm really sorry I don't have the time to investigate your issues. :( Other projects have pulled me away from modding for SM.
I have no idea what would be causing the un-linking of drones to the controller, nor do I have the first idea on how to make it compatible with the newer features of Choggi's mods (like repair and request). I am deeply sorry for this and hope it doesn't truly sour your experience of the game or mods.
Do the drones 'eventually' repair it on their own ? Can it be destroyed an rebuilt from that state ?
Even if you could provide a savefile for me to test this issue myself would be helpful, as I can't reproduce it, at all. Obviously if I can't reproduce the bug, I can't even attempt to figure out what is going wrong or work out a fix. :)
