The Basics
ok boys, so as you might know drifting is a little more difficult in Beam.ng than other games Especially RWD drifting so in this Guide ill be teaching the basics and more advanced methods of drifting in Beam.

So in A RWD car like the Pessima or 200bx ect. the car tends to slide with more power so for starters don't go full 1000 hp formula drift tune. Start off with a light tune or even stock. from there you might want to use a accelerometer for getting the amount of G's you pull in the middle of a drift.

so here is some quick ways to enter a drift
1.) Breaking drift, a simple concept really slamming/tapping the brakes to break traction with the road.
2.) Ebrake slide, now its not really an Understeer drift like the rest, but its easy to do and easy for Starters, just wait for the e brake to catch and like that you're sliding
3.) Power-overs, for this you need some more... Power this is easy, you use the cars power to initiate a drift by sliding the rear wheels

Now once you're in a drift you need to get down your throttle control down its easy to get a drift going but keeping it is where it gets difficult. throttle control is, well, the name says it, figuring out how much throttle to use in a corner

now exiting a drift in a RWD car is easy for the most part, you let off the gas and it tends to stop the drift, if not apply breaks, But LIGHTLY because slamming the breaks just puts it back into a slide.

As for an AWD car these steps are easier in beam (not irl cause i've tried drifting my Subaru RS and its nearly impossible). you can just start to tap the brakes, it tends to come out of a slide/drift.

The Advanced (+ Extras)
now drifting can be more advanced than sloshing around in a 30+ year old P.O.S

you can start to get more advanced by limiting G's in a drift and seeing how much you slide in a drift, think of it like a paper cup of water (if you get this i appreciate you as a person) its about half to full of water if you pull to many G's in a drift, the water spills. And you die on a Fujigoko doing 120 MPH. you're conditioning yourself to not spill any water, so what you do is try to pull under 2g in the accelerometer app in the H.U.D (if you don't have it on it can be added in settings)

Next up is track Knowledge., Don't go straight to Fujigoko by bobby_boulgat (great map for Touge driving) go for like the Hirochi Raceway, its got alot of easy corners to learn how to drift, or even West Coast USA's docks is good for starters. Also get to know the car and the map, drive the map for a while to get used to it.

now you can push the limits of whatever car your driving, i'm sure you can push a Covet to Maximum Dorifto status

Extras:

Eurobeat: Now i know what you're saying "ISDED YOU DEGENERATE YOU'RE CRINGE BRO" but Eurobeat actually helps with your driving skill (if you are more advanced in drifting if not you'll just slide into a wall) its Rythem is fitting for matching Revs and helping you match any opponents you might be racing against.

Drifting UI By: zorilya Now its not Important, but its fun to see how high you can get in scores

its funny but what he said about eurobeat is true. it perfectly matches to the revs of the car XD
