Relationships in Life is Strange 2 (is Finn the most underrated character?) UPD 06.27
Da di0naea
Reading a lot of comments, I wanted to speak personally on the subject, and, in particular, to consider Finn as the love interest of the protagonist, Finn's character in general and why Sean+Finn pairing is canon. I bet that builders of theories about how he is mercantile and selfish, as well as just people who passed the game by, and who apparently did not want to start thinking while playing, will hate me for this.

To begin with, I don't ship everyone and every non-traditional character (e.g. could never imagine Max and Chloe from the first season together as a couple, always thought it was something ridiculous and out of place).

In general my attitude to characters builds adjusted for environment, in which they are living, their essence (zero attention to gender and sexual orientation) etc.

In case you are willing to discuss: https://steamcommunity.com/app/532210/discussions/0/3491891042517144938/

About Finn's name and age

Here is an updated info on wiki.

Also, it probably means nothing, but here is the initial script of life is strange 2 characters (more specificly love interests).
Forrest goes for Finn and Charlotte for Cassidy, they share the first letter of their names.
First meeting
Sean first meets Finn at the end of the second episode on December 11, 2016.

While Cassidy and Sean are talking, Finn is constantly looking and starring longingly at Sean, he literally can't take his eyes off of him until they decide to leave.

If Sean supports Finn joking about Cassidy's hair, he smiles and looks more friendly than if you don't.
And if you say that Cass is nice, Finn doesn't smile, lowers his eyes and his voice is not that playful.
Diary
It says a lot of flattering words about Finn. Him being "the sweetest guy" of all the people Sean has ever met, and only the player decides how to take it.

Also, that memory about them watching the sunset together. How often do guys spend time like this and recall these events with such warmth, if they are just friends and nothing more? Again, it's up to the player.
Finn's personality
You can find out from Kareem's letter that Finn is kind of a man who, despite his problems always wanted to help people without friends and support.

Life is Strange developers give their comments on this topic in their Character Profile series dedicated to Finn.

Sympathy
Finn flirts with Sean all the time. There is no doubt that Finn really likes Sean as something more than just a friend and future events confirm it.
Seems like knife master finds scarred up hands sexy.
Finn is the only one who stayed with Sean in this scene, seeing how tired and sad he was after work. It seems that every time Finn compliments Sean, he quickly changes the subject, as if he is afraid of Sean's reaction.

By the way, Sean doesn't mind this attention, he also, more often in his thoughts, gives cute comments about Finn, and he sometimes makes touching gestures (literally and figuratively).

There are some funny moments at the end of the episode, when Sean thinks about how he kissed Finn before and in the middle of robbing a drug dealer who is armed and dangerous. It seems he got it bad himself.

Drawing
When Cassidy checks the picture of Finn, she hints that he'd love it. Cass most likely suspects or knows about Finn's crushing on Sean.
Solicitude
Before Sean meets Finn and Daniel at the beginning of the third episode, there is a dialogue worth listening to.

Finn supports Sean and his younger brother, he's always ready to stand up for each of them.

There also is a tiny but interesting moment on pay day. When Finn hears that Sean and Daniel are fired, he says that Sean is a good worker, and after that it is obviously shown how hard Finn's hand tremble when he points it to Sean's side.

*If Sean doesn't take the blame for the ashtray Finn gets a punch at the face, also he puts his arm out in front of Sean to protect him and draw Big Joe's attention on himself. (If Sean takes the blame it is clearly seen how Finn is ready to do the same, at the same time with Sean he is moving his lips simultaneously)

This scene shows Finn's reaction when Daniel is harmed by Merrill. Isn't it his honesty and concern?

Finn likes it when he learns something new about Sean and constantly gives him advice.
It is possible to learn a few new details about Finn, if Sean shows his interest in Finn's life.
He reveals his past to Sean, it's obviously difficult for him to do, however, he considers Sean close enough and trusts him with this information. Later, sitting by the fire, all of the group is talking about their worst memories. Finn doesn't. But it doesn't matter for Sean, he already knows (perhaps he's the only one who does).

If Sean doesn't ask Finn about his life story, Finn says that he understands how tough it is to lose a family in a very sad and frustrated tone.

You can't downplay Finn's positive influence on Sean. Despite a bad plan he did a lot for the brothers, which Sean himself confirms.

Homesickness
Finn expresses his desire to stop wandering and finally find a home, and then gets teased by the others. When Cassidy talks about her unwillingness to settle in one place, Finn, as if with hope, looks towards Sean, wondering about how he thinks.
In this scene Finn looks precisely on Sean multiple times and offers to smoke to him first.
After Sean shows Cassidy the drawing, he says that despite the advantages of traveling, he needs a base.

There is a word "Homesick" stitched onto Finn's pants.
Pros of the haircut
A bunch of interesting facts will open up if you don't go to bed with Dan.

When Sean is asked about his love preferences after all possible responses given to the player Finn makes cute comments towards Sean.

If Sean likes girls more and tells about Jenn, then Finn expresses that he is desperate because he doesn't have any chance with Sean.
If Sean tells he had many girlfriends, Finn says that it's clear to him because of how cute Sean is and it's not a surprise for Finn.
Then if Sean tells he is not into dating because of his troubled life, Finn responses that he likes trouble and growls playfully.
Answering that Sean finds some boys cute, Finn quickly asks what Sean's type is. After Cass tells him to slow down, Finn confidently says that Sean knows that he's cute.
After that Finn refuses to go to the tent with Hannah and addresses a brief smile to Sean.
Some kind of indicator that Finn has a glimmer of hope to strike up a relationship with Sean, maybe even serious. He sees that he has an opportunity which is not all in his imagination. He rejects Hannah's offer so as not to mess up his chances with Sean.

In fact, Finn refuses Hannah anyway, given that Sean ignored Cassidy the whole episode and took all sorts of steps towards Finn. So Finn considers Sean's actions and sticks to them, but otherwise clings only to Sean's answer about his sympathy for boys.
Body language
In every scene with Sean, Finn behaves openly and kinesthetically, sometimes even too much (for a friend), as if he can't keep his hands to himself when he's around him. It's different when Finn interacts with other characters.
When Sean asks Finn for how long he and Hannah have been together, or why they don't live in the same tent, Finn and Hannah laugh, after that Finn says there is nothing serious going on. At this point, he reaches Sean's attention with his hand and makes it clear that everything is not what Sean thinks, then he puts the same hand on Sean's lap, as if to assure him that there really is nothing between them.
Attitude towards brothers (UPD)
Finn genuinely loves and adores Dan. He's started to spend a lot of time with him even before he knew about kid's power. So this theory, in which Finn is friends with Diaz just because of his hidden bad motives, is stupid.
Let's recall Finn's story about his family. He has brothers, Finn is the youngest one. When his family let him down and left him, he was seeking for soulmates in every person around. Perhaps Finn sincerely associating himself with Daniel, he even says about it directly.

in the beginning of "pay day" section everybody is discussing what they would like to spend some of their money on, where Finn with a blissful face takes Daniel's side in the question, naming Daniel's favorite delicacy.

There is a little but very important detail about the relationships between Sean, Daniel, Finn and Cassidy.

Sean can have a genuine romance with Finn and change himself even more due to this and have a nice relationship with Daniel but accept the heist plan.

On the other hand, Sean can pick Cassidy and have a kiss and a one night stand but spoil everything between him and his little brother. Interesting, huh?
Oath
When most of the crew finds out about Daniel's power, the idea of robbing Merrill Creeps into Finn's head. Cassidy is furious and tells Finn that his idea is stupid and is going to lead them all to jail. When Cass says that Finn is only thinking about himself, he immediately explains that Sean and Daniel have no job anymore, that they deserve a chance to get the money. That was his first thought.
Knowing that this was the last night for the brothers at the camp, Finn tries to make sure that they will have cash to take care of themselves. But Cassidy yells at him, then seeing that he's outnumbered, Finn decides to leave and offers Sean to have a beer later and forget about everything. When Finn is about to quit, Cassidy warns him again, after that he leaves with the look of a beaten up puppy.

You should keep in mind that Finn has seen a lot of bad things in his short life. He grew up in bad conditions and has already been to prison, so his idea goes beyond, it is poorly thought out and immoral mostly because of everything he has experienced.
The last day
It is worth paying attention to the fact that everyone is dancing, talking, having fun, etc. at the party, Finn is the only who sits sullen apart from crew and can't get rid of thoughts. Many people completely misunderstood and perceived wrong the subsequent scene.
The dialogue starts with talking about life, as a warming up before the serious topics Finn wants to raise. He's obviously deep in thought.

Finn tells Sean a little more about himself, about the time he just got out of jail, how he was always trying to find a new daddy or new brothers. Maybe this time when he met new people, Finn seeked for brothers in them, and found something more, was finally able to love, perhaps for the first time on his journey (given his multiple relations without any feelings and hopes for the future).
So, in short, Finn was in search of a new family, later the group became one. But he wants something more secure and private, he's tired of running from place to place. There is a feeling that Finn is hopelessly homesick. He wants his own home, he is still yet to find.

Some people saw the catch in the fact that the deal with Finn was, in their opinion, intentionally made before the possibility of their little intimacy to specifically charm Sean and lure him into his evil plan. Actually, that's not true.

When Finn talks about his idea, he says that the brothers need money to carry out their goals and get to Mexico without problems in the first place. Finn is desperately in love with Sean. He loves his younger brother as much as his own. These two people who have become almost the closest ones to him will leave soon, and as fugitives will set off in an unknown direction, without any chance of contact and meeting again. Finn comes up whith an absolute crazy plan, which he builds logically in his mind, and he genuinely believes that it'll work. He's even more confident because of Daniel's power.
He doesn't see any other way, the plan would allow, all his people he is attached to (100%), to bail. He considers them family (he says it a lot), plus, it would help him stay with Sean and Daniel.
He cannot just let that thought go, because he understands that if they don't do it, he won't be able to see brothers.

When Sean is just friends with Finn and thanks him for sharing his feelings, Finn admits that that's what it was all about.
Further in the dialogue with Cassidy at the party she says that all the guys need money, and Finn just wants to smoke weed.
That's it. It makes no sense for Finn to go and do this thing for himself because he likes his new family here, he also likes the place, he is paid, he has lots of weed and a rather soft boss - it is enough for him at the moment. While robbing Merrill, Finn finds few reasons why boss deserves it. He also says that he thinks only about himself, in a dismissive manner, obviously portraying his negative attitude to this feature of Merrill.

Psychological egoism is manifested in the speech: "I", "my", "for me", "me", "I want". Finn never expresses his thoughts like that.

The only people Finn's doing this for are Sean and Dan. He's disobeyed in some versions, and left alone with Dan (btw Daniel insisted) because of his feelings for the guys and the confidence that they will succeed.

Finn treats the younger brother like an adult probably because he associates himself with Daniel. He trusts Daniel enough to make decisions and also because he expects Daniel to be the same as Finn (back when he was a child).

Finn is the only one who has repeatedly offered brothers to stay with the crew, or at least expressed his own will, which depends on the choices.
Even if you stay friends with Finn, he talks about it anyway.
Finn's desire to have a family and a home has influenced his affection for brothers to some extent, not to mention the time they'd spent together. Certainly, Finn met many people while traveling, those who he will never see again. But when he met Sean and Daniel, he knew he couldn't let them go so easily.

Finn is genuinely happy that Sean stays till the end with him, even being in such a dangerous and complicated situation.
Cassidy, on the other hand, shows her willing to get out, she says that maybe somewhere and someday she will meet Sean and Daniel once again, and then implies that she really can't stay in one place.
So basically you can get a kiss from Cass, you can even have sex with her for the first time (!) but there is nothing more behind it. She lets them go and, probably, Sean is another lover for her. She maybe will do a tattoo dedicated to him and would sometimes recall the great days they'd spent together.
Confession
Finn is ready to fight till the end. He is obviously a ride or die. When he receives a positive response to his proposal, he has hope, and he brings the dialogue to the confession about his feelings and indicates that there is a connection between Sean and him. He is ready to do it because of the bubbling emotions inside. From the beginning of the third episode Finn was obsessed with Sean, he flirted and called Sean pet names every chance given to him. That is why the chain of choices follows as it should. The further opportunity to accept Finn from his POV is more like "you're so cool, kiss me right now".
After Sean says that the feelings between them are mutual, Finn falls in love with Sean even more.

Now, about the kiss. Finn makes it clear that he likes Sean, but he doesn't receive an answer immediately. He looks into Sean's eyes, he has no idea what to expect, and even apologizes for everything he's just said.

However, if Sean answers that he feels the same, Finn's face literally begins to glow. No other scene shows a more caring, sincere and happy smile of his.

Finn places his palm on Sean's lap again, he is doing it every time he expresses his deep interest in him.

At this point, Finn already has something more than just hope. He can't keep his emotions inside and tells Sean that since he's in, he might have serious intentions (he understands that Sean doesn't want to let him and the rest of the guys go). He also says that the two of them can have so much more things together in the future, then Sean responds that he'd like that.
In Finn's romance route there is just a kiss. It looks like Finn takes feelings for Sean seriously and doesn't want to rush things, he only shows that he thinks about the future plans with him. He doesn't express his passion and sexual attraction in a way Cassidy does. He is slow and careful, because he was just like Sean once. He knows that it's very hard to change (if you decide to be just friends with Finn, he says that it's ok and that Sean has changed a lot already). He doesn't make Sean uncomfortable or give a reason to panic. Finn's attitude speaks for himself.
Finn has a tattoo on his knuckles "F R E E P I Z A".
"Free pizza" means having sex with someone just for the idea to get laid. Finn also says that he likes to have sex with both girls and boys until he gets some. But even so he only kisses Sean unlike Cassidy. It definitely is something sacred for him.
Rejection
If Sean declines Finn's plan, he tries to convince him once again, but after Sean snaps, Finn gives up. He's obviously hurt by Sean's reaction, but he still says he respects his choice.
His voice is very sad, and then, in search of reasons to get away from the conversation, Finn tells that Sean needs to go to the party and the dialogue ends abruptly. Presumably, Finn wanted to be left alone. He's hurt and sad that Sean didn't believe in his plan. From Finn's POV, both of his friends: Cassidy and the guy he's head over heels in love with, say that his idea is stupid, and they both have no faith in his plan. It's understandable how heartbroken he is after this.

If you agree to rob Merrill, Finn is excited, because he knows that if anyone can understand him, it certainly is Sean. But when MC rejects him, his reaction is the opposite, as if he tries to tell Sean "I thought you'd understand, but you're the same as Cassidy".
In this case, it is logical that by abandoning Finn's plan, the player is automatically deprived of the opportunity to form a relationship with him and get a kiss, for one simple reason - at this particular moment Finn is disappointed and convinced that everybody is against him. It's not a good time to confess your feelings, is it?
Swimming with Cass
After the kiss, you can go to the lake with Cassidy. There would be an opportunity to tell her about the relationship with Finn. There Sean is told that Finn is really into him. When he asks her if this is true, Cass is surprised that he's never noticed the hints.
Probably, Finn was talking about Sean to the other guys, either this is Cassidy's personal observation and maybe both.
You can safely say that it doesn't matter if the player chooses to go or not to go to rob Merrill, because it's a no secret that Finn is in love with Sean either ways.
Friendzone
If Sean isn't mutual towards Finn's sympathy but agrees to do the heist, at Joe's Sean shows his interest in Finn's feelings and he likes the fact that Finn likes him.
At this point, Finn slows things between them both down, and tells Sean that he always thought he was the master in hacking cars, but Sean has surpassed all of Finn's expectations and he is the real man in his eyes. He says it all instead of a more intimate compliment during their romance.

Romance with Finn:
Friendzone:

Being in a romantic relationship, in the car, Finn says he is very happy that Sean is with him and expresses his willingness to go till the end together once again.
Otherwise, Finn shows only his gratitude for guys supported and went with him.

After Sean inspects the safe through the window, Daniel asks whether he can break it and Finn (being in the friendzone) replies that HE believes in him.
However, if Sean kissed Finn, he says THEY believe in Daniel. Such a tiny detail, but revealing. Finn sees Sean and himself as something inseparable in this case.

There is no doubt that Finn's words about their future, after the kiss, mean exactly them both - Finn and Sean.
Few more words
I'd like to add some thoughts on what a lot of people say about how there was no hints that Sean's somehow related to LGBTQ+. But there also were no contrary statements or facts. In any case, this turn was expected, especially after the first season and the opportunity to create a non-traditional couple, not to mention LiS BtS.
It is a pity that when, the main character is male (for the first time) peoples' attitude to a variability of the partner choice is distorted and oppressed.
There are plenty of absurd arguments about the second season, such as: the options where you can choose a partner were added "without any point" or because "one of the characters is selfish and has his reasons to romance" and even that it's the only way to "bring back old fans of the series".

A LOT of people say that Finn-kissing scene was embarrassing, but in my opinion the romance with Cassidy is. Not to mention the way Sean gets lost in the presence of a female character.
With Finn, on the contrary, they are both (!) cutely slow and a bit shy at first. Looks like Sean is relatively calm, open and more confident with Finn. Come on, just look at his right hand during a Finn-kiss.
They obviously have chemistry and a very "strong connection".
One more nice moment is Sean's monologue with himself when he comments on the kiss. Perhaps his best girlfriend could've even known about Sean's orientation, but still would go completely crazy about how he had the courage to do that, because he'd never even known how to communicate properly with Jenn in the first episode.
Probably, Sean had learnt how to be different while growing up or was taught by new people on the plantation, who were liberated enough and ready for experiments. Something could have affected him or maybe not. Who knows.

At the beginning of the third episode Sean is clearly shown like a still little boy. Everything that happened to him after the tragedy deprived Sean of all the delights of growing up, he had no chance to understand himself, couldn't study himself and decide what he was like sexually and determine his sexuality in general. He simply did not have enough time for this. It is very complicated and scary when you become mature enough and start to question your sexuality. It is an important problem and experience, so these talks that the choice of Sean's orientation is unnecessary and etc. are stupid and superficial.
Sean's car

It's a shame that the second season is greatly underestimated and criticized for things, which are in fact, should be considered a hallmark and a feature of the game.
Hospital p.1
Sean meets Finn in the 4th episode during his escape. Sean notices him with a sinking heart and cannot believe that this is happening.

Finn is incredibly happy to see Sean, which is evident from the mood and expression on his face.

He is primarily interested in the fate of the younger brother.

If Sean doesn't tell him where Daniel is, Finn accepts and understands Sean's distrust.

Finn was questioned by the police, but he didn't give any statements, didn't narc on the brothers and kept his promise not to reveal Daniel's power.

If Sean shares the blame, Finn says he wants to go back and change things. Finn, who once said that you can't change the past and need to focus on the future.

Then he asks about Sean's eye and finds the courage to ask forgiveness for what happened.

If Sean says that it's too late to apologize, Finn is heartbroken, he tries to apologize once again and show that he still really cares about Sean.

If Sean says that Finn is selfish, Finn feels sad and resentful about it, because he truely wanted best for his family (including Sean and Daniel). He adds that he at least tried to do something to keep everyone together, to give them everything.

When Sean forgives him, Finn's gratitude and remorse have no limits.

Finn has tearful eyes and, being in a romance, he admires Sean,
and then confesses.

Sean reciprocates with a trembling voice and this time himself hopes for them to meet again.

Finn then gives Sean a pep talk, which is full of love. He again (optional) infuses faith and confidence in Sean.

Finn again calls Sean "sweetie", which now can be considered specifically their thing in the romance.

As for the third episode, there is another scene when Sean is in love with Cassidy and refuses the heist plan, where Finn again gives him confidence, as if pushing him to Cass against his own feelings.

Sean presses his hand to the window and walks away.

None of them said a definite "goodbye"

Obviously something happened to Finn. He can't move from his bed. Free camera reveals what the game doesn't. As you can see Finn reaches for Sean after their conversation.
Hospital p.2
Finn doesn't give any details about his health and reasons why he can't go with Sean. He only says that he won't go far, though Finn really wants to help. He probably didn't want to add any more thoughts, problems, and worries to Sean's mind, because he knows that the main goal for both of them is to find Daniel.

In case Sean decided to stay friends with Finn, he says a lot of touching words after Sean forgives him in the 4th episode.

It's amusing that Finn reacts to Sean's appearance the same way as to Daniel's power.

And also, their similarities in thoughts and words.

A few warm moments with Sean's thoughts from the same location.

Blame
The choice about Sean taking Finn's blame has to be mentioned too.
After a heartbreaking story about his past in the 3d episode, where Finn's father narced on all his children, including Finn, undoubtedly the most cruel choice is to make Sean testify against him. Sean already has a life sentence and the ideas about escaping to Nevada. Blaming Finn doesn't make sense anymore, but taking the blame can save Finn's future.
*So, Finn's father stripped cars and Sean's father, on the contrary repaired them. Funny how it is similar to their story, like Finn's plan destroyed what they've all had and now Sean needs to make things right.*

At the same time, the agent says that Sean is the only one who gave any statements on the subject.

Though the scale of the problems is different, there is a parallel on payday. Finn without hesitation was ready to take the blame for the brothers in a situation where it wasn't his fault. Same as Sean, who may not be involved in the plan (optional).

Life is Strange Wiki proves that it's not meaningless to take the blame for Finn, based on the topic about the agent who questions Sean. Besides, Flores has the enemy status.
Sean's parents
Esteban

Sean has a dream of his father in the car. In this scene, he can share his personal life, open up and get an pproval.

When Esteban says that if Sean is happy with his choice, then so is he, Sean nods back with a smile and enthusiasm.

Despite the circumstances, subconsciously Sean's heart is still warm, and he could be grateful for father accepting him for who he was, even if the news came as a surprise to Esteban.

Karen

Outside the Motel room, Sean's mother tells how she thinks the right person can be found.

So, it's enough to remember what Sean wrote about how he and Finn watched the sunset.

Also, Karen hints that Sean will surely meet those whom he got along on the road with.
Thoughts
Sean finds a token at the Motel and he associates it with Finn.

The interesting part is that this item is a collectible and a decoration for Sean's backpack which is interchangeable with Cassidy's mediator.

In any relationship with Finn, Sean claims that Finn was a true friend to Daniel.

When Jacob tells Sean about his past life and orientation, Sean comments referring primarily to Finn.

After the update, the dialogue with Jacob changed. Now Sean bluntly says that he and Finn have a romantic relationship.
Diary p.2
In episode 5 Finn is mentioned in the diary. Sean obviously didn't forget about him and is waiting for them to be reunited.

Finn's letter
If you romance Finn and take the blame (fully or partly) in episode 4, Sean finds this letter.

Daniel had always been important to Finn, and this piece showed it. He misses them both. It's heartwarming that Finn writes about Daniel as "their superhero".
Finn reunites with one of his siblings, however his heart leads him to Mexico.

As for Sean, you can see how much he cares about Finn's fate, and how high he evaluates him.
About the kiss
If Sean kissed Finn in the third episode, there will be an opportunity to tell his younger brother about it in the final one.
Daniel tells Sean that he experienced strange feelings when he saw an elderly couple of men kissing in front of him.

Many will be pleased with this reaction. Most likely, Sean himself was happy to share this with his loved one, especially being unable to tell his best friend and father about it.
A good ending?
At the "Parting Ways" ending Daniel receives a letter from Sean, which contains a photo of him and Finn together on a beach in Mexico. They look happy, healthy. Daniel is glad to know and see it, despite the circumstances. It's touching that both Sean and Finn kept their words to move together until the very end. One can only hope that Daniel will be able to visit them one day.

Finn's chest tattoo :D

Finn doesn't appear in the "Blood Brothers" ending, but there are a couple of moments which can be hints of his presence or appearance in the future. At least there is no reason for him not to be there. After all, if Sean didn't blame on Finn for the robbery, he receives Finn's letter with his phone number in any case.
For example, Daniel wears a bandana just like Finn. Again. The camera is focused on his hand.
( subscribe to my tumblr[fatcharlie.tumblr.com] if you love Finn and Sean)

Among all the objects on the board, there is a sketch of the restaurant called "Cocktails".
And the brothers themselves live in the beach house. It's hard to forget that Finn dreamed of all this.

Sean's appearance in both endings in Mexico is the same, which probably also means that Finn's appearance doesn't depend on Daniel's location.

Perhaps, developers made it clear like this to the player that those in Mexico are not alone without switching attention from the two Sean and Daniel.

Which one is a good story end for Finn, Sean and Daniel? You decide.
Pure speculation (NEW)
In episode 4, after meeting Finn at the hospital, Sean leaves a note in his diary. Which says that he should focus on what is most important, meaning getting to Nevada and finding Daniel. Paying attention to the word being deciphered in the "Read" section as "most", you can notice on the diary pages themselves that Sean doesn't write letters "S" and "T" anywhere else the same way as in this exact case. Presumably, after all, he meant "more", which at some point changes the meaning of what he says there in general.
Obviously, calligraphy was written and deciphered by people, not machines, so there are mistakes and it's understandable. During the walkthrough of episode 3, you can easily find one in another letter, addressed to Finn by Karim. The typo is present both on the pages themselves and when viewed in "Read". It is possible that there are more of them all in all of course. So, in Karim's letter, the last paragraph reads "I hope his letter finds you well" although it is more logical to assume that it should be "I hope this letter finds you well".

This example is just to plant doubt, so that everyone could independently decide what to believe in: the accuracy of the decryption or unintentional typo.
Appreciation
If you've read all the way through, thank you for your attention and i'm sorry in advance for any and each mistake i've done.

I want to thank littlegem and Dertragame for help ♥

I loved them together so much! Really like this analysis! I think one thing I love about it is how close Finn and Daniel are. It takes some of the burden off Sean’s shoulders 💜

I loved their relationship and with all the flirting coming from the romantic interest, I found it natural for Sean to be drawn more to Finn than Cassidy, much like Steph from Life is strange: True colors. Thank you for putting this together and shining light on a lot of details I'd missed in my own playthrough.

i felt like a rock when i found out that finn actually likes sean. i was more concerned and focused on daniel's progressing attitude. i dunno, but it made me reflect my personality. maybe i'm really an insensitive person afterall
