Pedestrian Path with Stairs

Description
A pedestrian path with wooden stairs on sloped sections of the path. This asset uses Park Bench 02 (one of the default assets in the game) to give the appearance of steps.

Note: the "steps" behave a bit glitchy. sometimes they get rendered underneath the path and aren't visible. This seems to work best on slopes connecting onto bridges.

If you want the stairs to be built at a much steeper angle, use Version 2 of this path. Link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2032777851

Would bikes still go up it since it's a cosmetic change mostly? Not a problem either way, just want to know so I can build separate bike paths if need be.

I also want to know because I think watching cyclists go up and down stairs would be hilarious

What about terrain conforming steps on the ground. Example, parking lot is next to road, but the public park area is on a hill. Instead of a slippery up slope flat path, turn into steps on the ground leading up to the public park. This is more safe for people and is more realistic to what most locations would use, especially real steep areas. I have found several steps but all are props. the working ones are for elevated over the street pedestrian bridges. non are for climbing a hill.

@Ryker Hunter That might already be doable with Road Anarchy. Although, I think I know how to change steepness (if it's what I think it is, it's just copying this path and changing one variable) so I'll get that done in the next hour or so

probably not happening, but could you add it so that you can increase the incline, I am looking for a real staircase which I can connect to a bridge as a normal path takes up too much room, as I want them next to busy roads with bridges, but I need to take up 4 squares to get the path high enough to get over the road.

dude that sounds awesome. Will try not to be too excited just in case and hope to try it out soon. Sounds like you just cheated on how to make procedural stairs, haha.

@sp3tre18 basically, the height of each step appears taller on steep slopes and shallower on gentle slopes. At some angles, it just looks like a wooden deck floor, i'd advise going for steeper slopes to make the steps more visible.

lol, seems like a cool idea. Does it become more prominently step-like if the slope is steeper? or does it not help us much for steep slopes?
