Description
Adds 16 new lore-friendly animals all across Kenshi's world: Chimpanzees, Bloodhounds, Fiddler Crabs, Acid Wasps, Carrion Crawlers...

I don't want to spoil the excitement of finding the new creatures for you, so the full content list is in the discussions section and marked as spoiler.

Two Screenshots as teasers: Fiddler Crab and Bloodhound. There's also a new game start where you start with a Bloodhound pup.

If you really want to see all creatures before installing the mod, screenshots of every new creature in their natural habitat can be found on my Steam profile page.

Also now there is a CHEAT start for testing purposes but I wouldn't recommend using it. Some of the new animal (concepts) are meant to surprise you and you'd spoil that for you.

I'm by no means a professional 3D Artist. All I did was messing around with Blender and Gimp. Expect some minor flaws, like slightly distorted textures. Please tell me if I may have made any obvious errors that need fixing.

Please also report if you find any inconsistencies or balancing issues. Like animals spawning in unexpected places, being too strong or too weak, conflicts between animals and npcs that shouldn't / mustn't happen, etc.

Why TIHYD?

This is a reference to my now second favourite game-of-all-times, Project Zomboid, whose savegame loading screen motto is "This is how you died". Try it out, it's great! I love rogue-like gameplay and plan to publish a series of mods which make Kenshi even more diverse, immersive, harder... and deadly! This prefix is intended to group them all together.

Playing with this mod since.. August 2019, had to disable the giant turtles in Grey Desert due to their huge collision box.
Yes the Bloodhounds are deadly. I usually have a character stationned in The Shield and when a pack of 7+ come it's slaughter time. Good thing is (spoiler) they sleep during the day. Better have your little guys (and girls) improved toughness and nice armor.
The other creatures are nice too *evilsmile*
One of the Essential mods for me.

bloodhounds were hitting my skellys for 100 (skelly start, all newborn, but still). I had to unsubscribe as that is waay too unbalanced

The bloodhounds are ridiculous, absolutely no cooldown in their attack, a nest of them could easily take down catlon.

Any reason why the deathclaw has only one attack slot?
Made a quick fix for it, because that's just ridiculous.

Also toned down some spawn numbers in some squads. Spider Crabs were particularly egregious. Same for horses and mules, though to a lesser degree.
