RE0 HD - NO NOISE FILTER/FILM GRAIN Mod

I was surprised to see a noise filter in an HD remake. So this is a mod (I have found, so I'm not the original creator) to get rid of that useless and annoying Noise Filter/Film Grain.

How To install And Use

Use is pretty simple: extract the content inside RE0's Folder (Default is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 0", but just to be clear it goes where "re0hd.exe" is)

After that, once you launch Resident Evil 0, as soon as you're ingame playing you can press:

- F1 to disable Film Grain
- F2 to enable Film Grain

The original author claims it starts disabled by default. It doesn't.

Surprised? this effect makes everyone alot more realistic! The answer may have been to reduce it as opposed to completely removing this.

To start the game with the F1 option by default, open DX9Settings.ini in notepad & then change the following:

[PRES1]
Const1 = 0x00000000

[PRES2]
Const1 = 0x3f800000
UseByDef = true

Change to:

[PRES1]
Const1 = 0x00000000
UseByDef = true

[PRES2]
Const1 = 0x3f800000
