INTRO
As you may know, the PC FPS genre of games are known for having easier access to third-party hacks and trainers that gives the user unfair bennefits(compared to the consoles), such as wallhack, aimbot, speedhack, you name it.

Many good/lucky players often get accused for cheating mainly because they got a kill in a scenario where they were in the losing position and happened to get lucky. Many call it cheating, many call it hacking, others call it luck, others call it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Whatever they call it, it's either a hack going on, or he's just lucky. This guide will go over a few tips that will help you figure out if the person that killed you had hacks going on or not.

THE K/D RATIO
The first sign of determinning wether someone is hacking or not is if his K/D is unusually high. A great example is if you are playing Team Deathmatch and the hacker is getting above 50 kills before half the game has progressed and he has gotten either 0 or 1 death. Keep in mind that scorestreaks such as K9 Units, Swarm drones or choppers can be the reason to why he has a load of kills. Either that or his team is built upon people with bad luck/experience of the game.

THE KILLCAM
The killcam is also an incredibly helpful tool for spotting a cheater. If you're like me and spamming F whenever someone kills you, if you ever spot someone killing you that you can not explain, let the F button rest for a while and inspect the killcam.

Keep in mind that some snipers are more accurate, some rushers have greater reflexes, and some campers have the eye of an eagle and can spot targets across the map with ease, so don't expect everyone to have the same standards as yourself.

Golden rule = Check the killcam before flaming the chat.(This tip is also good at determining wether your nemesis is pre-firing by shooting around corners before he even sees you, but only if the enemy doesn't have a VSAT scorestreak up)

SCORESTREAKS
Another important fact to know is that scorestreaks can look like hacks aswell. Keep your ear pointed up for the announcer saying that there is a hostile Orbital VSAT up or if they have a UAV enabled. Orbital VSAT's can be the explanation to why the enemy was firing at you before you even turned the corner.

SIDE NOTE:Some people use the Millimeter-Scanner attachment, which allows them to see you through walls in great distances if you're either walking slowly or sitting at one spot. Wallhack or not, it's in the game and can also be mistaken as a hack.

THEATRE MODE
If you really think you spotted a hacker, go ahead and watch the match you just played in Theatre mode and spectate that one player throughout the entire match. Did he get any scorestreaks you might have missed? Did he have an aimbot enabled? Does it look like he has any kinds of cheats enabled? Use this method before reporting someone, you can in fact learn a thing or two from watching replay matches of people who dominated the battlefield, which can help you in matches aswell!

If you are impatient and REALLY think he was hacking, then go ahead and report him, but don't expect him to disappear at an instant, or be banned at all for that matter.

STAY CALM...
... and don't rage out. It's a fact that runs by every gamer. Letting your rage out is a good thing in most cases, but it will mess with your actions in a more serious matter and say things to others you really didn't mean. Childish or not, it's still a fact that can easily mess with both your gameplay and behaviour, simply by taking the wrong mental turn when playing games.

This method can, and will serve helpful to you and will help you avoid being angry at others simply because you died.

End
What's that? This is a short guide? Well, it's because it's all that it takes to spot a hacker. I've played Black Ops 2 Multiplayer for a total of 638 steam counting hours, and I have spotted one hacker so far who was at level 26 with an aimbot enabled. And to wrap it up even more accurate, every single lobby that I've ever joined have always ended in someone accusing someone else for hacking, simply because either that one person is a bad loser/player overall or happened to be unlucky.

So to finish this off, please don't jump to the conclussion that every person that kills you is a hacker, because there is a reason to why you lost the gunfight. Thanks for reading my guide and hope it served helpful to most of you out there.

@$wagzilla That's pretty much what I meant ^^ People usually accuse someone for hackin' when they go somethin' like 50/15, however a hacker usually surpass maybe 40/0 or somethin'. Just wanted to clear that out.

Everything is great except for the KD part, I quite often go over the 50 kill mark when using agressive streaks so people shouldn't really judge a player by his kd, unless it's something insaneley high like 15 or some shit like that.

Some people really need this, I one time got called a hacker for getting a direct hit with an SMAW. Another time for "actually getting kills with a KSG."
