Pawn Badge - US OFFICER RANK INSIGNIAS

Beskrivelse
Welcome to the Officer's club.

Adds US Officer rank insignias to RangelReale's Pawn Badge mod.

Requires Pawn Badge and Hugslib.

Now you can have incompetent leadership watch as your enlisted soldiers do the hauling. Get it done, hooah?

The gear you see in the screenshots above comes from Rimmu-Nation

@Malikyte Believe it or not, There are actually tiny differences between the rank insignia, but they aren't where you would expect. The USAF, USA, and USMC use the same rank names, with the USN and USCG (Coast Guard) being the odd ones out.
But the USN and USMC have very slightly different designs for the insignia, using the same insignia than each other. When I mean slight, I'm not joking, either. I mean, where the connecting rod on a 1st LTs insignia in the Army is near the edge of the bars, while a quarter of an inch in on a Marines, and the ridging on a LtCol's Oak leaf is denser in the Army. The Type of thing you wouldn't notice unless you got up and REALLY looked at them closely. I do not know if the USCG uses USA/AF or USN insignia.

@Malikyte Damn, you're right. That would have been hilarious

PS - Erecinto, you missed a golden opportunity to make Dan a Lieutenant. You could have even given him prosthetic legs and everything. :P

Aside from the names, the USAF and USN officer ranks are identical to the Army ones. They look the same, they're just called by different names in the case of the Navy (because muh tradition and whatnot). It's really just the enlisted ranks where the different branches go off on tangents. But as far as the symbols themselves go, officers are universal across the four (yes, four. Eat it, USCG) branches.

@AdamV1029 Life's been kinda hectic for me recently. It will be quite a while if at all. If you really want them soon, I recommend you download the Ludeon forums version of one of my mods and just convert it to USN or AF.

This is really quite cool. Might have to hack together my own version with Canadian Forces insignia (because quite frankly, US insignia are inferior; they suffer from an abject lack of executive curls ;p ).

might you do USN/USAF too?

Oh no sorry, It was just a suggestion. I don't have any interest in modding. No offence I love what you guys are doing. I'm just more of the person who is having the people build me my house if you understand. And if its a bit to difficult than that's okay it was just a suggestion. I was more really looking into the world war 1 German badges like for cavalry and infantry division badges.

And as once again. Great job with what you are doing.

@KaiserBob So I've been looking into the GER rank structure and it looks like there's a lot of intricacies that might make it difficult to do. For example, only the lower enlisted have arm patches, and from then on most designations of rank are in the form of shoulder insignias. Not to mention color changes based on your MOS (Like infantry, panzer, gebirg, etc). If you're willing to discuss with me about a good way to do it message me on steam and we can do a collaboration. I'll even add you as one of the authors!
