☀ Arch Temp Kulve Taroth Siege Quick Guide ☀

A quick guide to complete the ‘The Fury of El Dorado’ event quest! ✌(°ᗜ°)✌

Quick Introduction

Arch Temp Kulve Taroth is a limited time Elder Dragon that can be hunted through the 'The Fury of El Dorado' quest and she got some different mechanics compared with normal Kulve Taroth Siege.

This guide contain a simple walkthrough during Arch Tempered Kulve Taroth Siege to make a clear visualization in carrying out the siege.

General Notes

Equipment tips
► Search up on google for specific equipment set. I prefer to build your own set that suit with your      play style!
► Fire Mantle could help you
► Annoying Gajalaka can be easily knocked out with 1 Crystalburst or PiercingRod

► Copper Calappa will steal Kulve’s material

                                
Skills tips
► Skills that will help in this siege:
    ▸Health Boost        : Increase maximum health cap by 15%, 30%, and 50% for level 1, 2,                                       and 3 respectively.
    ▸Partbreaker          : Deals 10%, 20%, and 30% more damage for level 1, 2, and 3 respectively.
    ▸Bombardier          : Increase the damage of explosive items by 10%, 20%, and 30% for level 1, 2,                                       and 3 respectively.
    ▸Thunder Attack    : Increase the damage of thunder attack
    ▸Heavy Artillery     : Increases the firepower of ballistae and cannon by 10% and 20% more                                      damage for level 1, and 2 respectively.
    ▸Scholar                : Speed up progress levels and Special Investigations.
    ▸Scenthound         : 50% faster Gauge fill rate.
► She's weak to thunder ailments during the molten mode
► Weakness exploit DOES NOT work effectively on her with ranged weapons
                                
Fighting tips
► If you are running on Pursuit Level 1 or 2, Do Not forget to collect Kulve's traces to increase your      pursuit level for more chance of completion of breaking Kulve's giant horns.
► DO NOT WORRY to start with pursuit level 1 (Maybe I should rephrase that)
► It's BETTER to start with pursuit level 1. Why? check out 'Reward' section of this guide

► Its better NOT to paralyze, sleep, KO, or mount the Kulve Taroth until she reached area 4 (Due to a      high threshold, it is very unlikely you can get the second chance of paralysis, sleep, and mount)
► Please do not put your barrel bomb while Kulve is knocked down especially in the Kulve’s head      while your teammates are doing a damage.

► IT'S BETTER TO NOT leave the siege. Why? check out 'Start-Up Notes' and 'Reward' section of      this guide
► Instead of leaving the quest, it's better to let the Kulve Taroth to leave (Let her leave in area 2!) and      continue for the next higher pursuit level run. Without leaving the quest and continue the siege, you      are still able to obtain a 'Single Run Siege Complete' achievement to get extra 2 rainbow box      rewards!
► Keep in mind all of her attack is 1 hit K.O. (So you can be more careful)

Start-Up Notes

► In Arch Tempered Kulve Taroth, you better to play the siege from low pursuit level (Level 1) and DO      NOT either abandon or return from the siege! Once you abandon or return from the quest your      'Single Run Siege Complete' achievement will be forfeited and you will be losing 2 rainbow box      rewards.
► DO NOT WORRY to start from pursuit level 1. You can complete Arch Tempered Kulve Taroth Siege      in a single run from pursuit level 1. Well your party will need to have a good coordination and do      enough amount of damage and parts broken to get the additional time (Read 'Reward' section of      this guide)

The Kulve Taroth Siege Guide

Area 1

Goal : Collect tracks, do damage and break her parts as much as            possible using your 'Partbreaker' skill to make her furied            mode later in Area 4

﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋
Keep in mind, you have to destroy ±15 parts and do enough amount of damage, so she can turn into FURY mode.


Once you get this notification, it means you broke enough amount of parts and there will be a chance that she will turn into furied mode in Area 4 after doing some enough amount of damage.

In this area, like normal Kulve do, she will move around and she will mostly attack with biting or tail swipe. Use cannons (350 damage per shot), boulders (1500 damage per boulder), and bombs to do damage as much as possible.

In my opinion, due to efficiency it's better to use your 'Partbreaker' skill to destroy her parts. BUT do not forget to use boulders.

Kulve Taroth is likely walking through 6 different route patterns.

☆ Tips: If you are running on Pursuit Level 1, 2, or 3, do not forget to pick up some tracks to level up              your Pursuit Level.

➭ Note: For high amount of damage or after breaking enough parts, bombing, or mounting (Not              recommended), Kulve’s body will turn into red (Let’s call it ‘Molten mode’) and her entire body              is a weak point at this state. However, if she got into Molten mode in this area, you get less              opportunity for her turn into Molten mode in the next area

If you do enough amount of damage, Kulve will move into Area 2

Area 2

Goal: Turn Kulve into Molten mode and break her golden horn           plate and other parts as much as possible.

﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋
Pretty much the same with normal Kulve Taroth. In this area, just damage and break Kulve’s parts as much as possible. Beware that she does a lot of damage comparing to the normal Kulve Taroth (It's Arch Temp anyway ﾍ(=￣∇￣)ﾉ ).

If Kulve didn’t turn into Molten mode in Area 1, she will turn into Molten mode in this area and her whole body will be her weak point. This is a great chance to destroy her golden mantle or her golden plate of her horn.

➭ Note: You can break Kulve's mantle in this area
        
☆ Tips: When she is spitting a lava pool, you can use Dragon, Thorn, Bomb, or Piercing Pods to stop her out.

Again, after you do enough of damage or parts broken, she will move on to Area 3

Area 3

Goal: Destroy Kulve’s golden mantle, so she can proceed to Area 4

﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋
This area is a lava area, remember to drink a Cool Drink or if you don’t have one, pick Chillshrooms at the entrance of Area 3.

Again... no difference with normal Kulve Taroth.

Use 3 boulders (2 on the right and 1 left) and 2 lava spouts (300 damage per ±1.5 second)

After Kulve’s golden mantle is destroyed, she will proceed to Area 4

Area 4

Goal: Completely break Kulve’s giant horns

In this area, Kulve will become more aggressive. Attack her head carefully as much as possible until her horn is completely broken. Also, 'Partbreaker' skill is pointless in area 4.

After you break ±15 parts and doing enough amount of damage, she will turn into FURY mode and she will have some new deadly moves

➭ Note: In Arch Tempered Kulve Taroth Siege, the melting gold from the ceiling does a lot of               damage unlike the normal Kulve Taroth’s siege.

☆ Tips: You do not need to attack Kulve's horn in order to break it. However, since its her weakpoint,              its better to attack her head.
                                   
Once her horn breaks, she will retreat and Quest Complete! ✧٩(•́⌄•́๑)

Arch Tempered Kulve Taroth's New Deadly Moves

Starts in Area 2

► Double fire beam: This is just like her regular fire beam that does a straight line of fire in front of     her, except she’ll or can do it twice! Keep that in mind!

➭ Note: Be careful when you are attacking her tail, she can immediately turn and use her fire beam.              Many player died because of this unexpected move, so STAY ON GUARD!

In area 4

► Sweeping fire breath: Similar to Xeno’s and Vaal’s sweeping beam. However, it leaves a lava pool      behind.
► Arm slam: She will slam her arms against the ground similar to Nergi’s attack, but it doesn’t have      that much range.

New Rewards

Completing Arch Tempered Kulve Taroth Siege Quest will have an additional reward:

► Incandescent Weapons – Rarity 7 or 8 weapon upon the appraisal New Kjárr weapons!
► Kulve Taroth Emperor Nugget – Material item to craft Kulve Taroth's Gamma Armor

The higher Reward Level you get, the higher chance of good relic weapons you could get!

Reward Level will be maxed out at Level 17. Level up by gathering points from breaking Kulve’s part.

➭ Note: For an additional 2 Rainbow Box Rewards is still unclear. Those extra boxes comes after              you break her giant horn while furied. However, there's some unknown circumstances how to              get 4 boxes by breaking her horns while furied. (If you had an idea or opinion, leave down a              comment and let the community know).

☆ Remainder: You can check the objective list by going to Options > Info > Special assignments.

You are able to get maximum of 8 rainbow box rewards upon the completion of Arch Tempered Kulve Taroth Siege



➭ Note: To achieve 'Single Run Siege Complete' you have to complete the siege without either               abandoning or returning from the quest. You can't fail the quest by faints 3 times either.

Unlike the normal Kulve Taroth's siege, you can get extension time for Arch Tempered Kulve Taroth to stay longer by doing enough amount of damage and parts broken. (Just keep damage her and break those damn golden parts)

Quick Conclusion

Goals Summary:

Area 1: Collect tracks, do damage and break her parts as much as possible (DO NOT forget to use              boulders)
Area 2: Turn Kulve into Molten mode and break her gold horn plate and other parts as much as              possible.
Area 3: Destroy Kulve’s golden mantle by destroying 5 Kulve's part
Area 4: Completely break Kulve’s horn

To make her into fury mode break ±15 parts and do enough amount of damage

There are definitely some changes that have happened. It seems there are only 2 routes she takes now. Also the damage numbers from cannons and boulders seem to be 50% higher than your stated numbers.

For better success rate at area 4 first have someone or designate someone to be the CC(crowd control) guy (one who paralyze,sleep,K.O.) and a mount person. these should be the order for easier horn break
sleep> place bomb(she has a long animation during this time) place it at the left side if remember it correctly > place bomb on the tail >bomb while she is standing up(be quick though) > then go to the middle pillar for the mount (kinda forgot how many times you have to do it before reaching area 4) > once mount is successful then place bomb opposite the pillar where she will slam first >then wear impact mantle one she falls down >1st KO > Paralyze her>then KO again> Violaaaa its done

you can also bring an affinity booster for faster break during phase 4
