Starting Out (For New Players)
IMPORTANT: If you are a new player then never spawn in on a 100PL server unless you really want to die from other new players or spawn campers.

When you spawn in for your first time, you will have very few items on you in your inventory, these items will be:
Flashlight (for a bit of self-defense)
Can Of Soda
Bandages
Granola Bar
These items are good enough to last you for 5 minutes so you may need to find other items. Stealth is a option to start with, just getting to know your way around is always a good idea.

Dealing With Zombies: Always aim for the head, this applies for shooting them and hitting them. Striking the body of a zombie will not kill them unless its over time so aiming for the head is the smart option. For those players who have no idea of previous updates, there are now sprinting zombies. Beware of sprinting, flanking zombies, these types are the worst as they sometimes glitch and it this can lead you to missing, giving the zombie the advantage for a second or two.

Types Of Currency: There are 3 different types of currency and these are:
Gold Coins (GC)
In-Game Dollars
Stem Cells (Dont be too concerned about these as they are extremely difficult to earn)
Most of the items on the In-Game Marketplace sell for GC, very few items sell for In-Game Dollars so if you have a chance to get GC then it might be best to do so. However, there are a few decent items that sell for In-Game Dollars and they are very handy, such as the Compact Scope, Meds, Energy Drinks, Food and Water etc. No items in game sell for Stem Cells. Stem Cells are mean't to be traded for GC.

Exploring
Important: Don't go looting without a better weapon and a bit more experience of killing zombies.

There are many places on the map to explore and many places hold good and rare items.
Places to loot and weapons recommended are:

Clearview - Tactical Knife - Good For Finding Decent Guns and Meds
Smallville - Tactical Knife - Good For Finding Pistols and Meds
Camp Splinter - Katana/Machete - Good For FInding Rare Guns
Boulder City - Katana/Machete and Gun With C-Mag - Good For Finding All Round Items
Campos City - Katana/Machete - Good For Finding All Round Items
Parkerville - Tactical Knife - Good For Finding Basic Supplies
West Boulder - Katana/Machete - Good For Finding Rare Guns
Airport - Katana/Machete and Gun With C-Mag - Good For Finding Rare Guns And XP Farming
Pleasent Valley - Bat - Good For Spawning Really Rare Items And Ammo

Clearview and Smallville may be good for exploring for the loot but are really well known for PVP, Clearview and Smallville both have border locations known as "Sniper Hill", from these locations, people who are armed and dangerous will take advantage of this spot as climbing the hills to reach them is a very difficult task as after all, they have the high ground. All of these locations are good to loot but as well as you knowing this, other people will know too. You may stumble across another player while you are looting but I will explain what to do later on if this happens.
Pleasent Valley has a hidden Tent on a hill that can spawn really rare items that you may not be able to find anywhere else, it also has a house lower down the hill that has a few zombies there so you don't need much if you are planning on looting Pleasent Valley. The tent there itself does not have any zombies surrounding it so you can get good loot while not making much of an effort to do so.
Combat (PvP)
Important: Don't PVP in high population servers unless you feel confident enough or you are experienced enough to do so, join lower population for a better chance of finding somewhere to survive and hold out.

PvP (Player vs Player) can be very difficult at times as some players are very experienced and some players are hackers, you may find the odd "Bambi" here or there. For those who do not know what a "Bambi" is, a "Bambi" is a complete noob player, this means they may only have very weak guns or very weak melee so the chances of you beating them are very likely. Some Bambi's may not even have any items on them.

Tips On How To Survive: Team Up with people you trust, join a clan or make one with your friends. Chances of survival increase with having a team.
Stronghold an area such as Garage Roof or Pharmacy in Clearview, get into good positions then kill anyone who attempts to "Rush" you.
Never keep any part of players body on show when taking cover, not even your elbow if you can help it. Players will hit you from ridiculous angles and there may be nothing you can do about it.
Take an accurate gun such as an M16, M4, Sig Sauer P226, 1911, SCAR H etc. Dont risk taking out Blasers or M107's or any other Sniper unless you are with a crew that can back you up in case you get flanked, at least if you were to die then maybe a team-mate could retrieve your Sniper for you and Log before they are killed.

Reputation Names and Reputation Required To Achieve That Reputation:

Assassin: -1000 Rep
Villian: -600 Rep
Hitman: -300 Rep
Bandit: -100 Rep
Outlaw: -25 Rep
Thug: -5 Rep

Civilian: 0 Rep

Constable: +10 Rep
Deputy: +20 Rep
Lawman: +80 Rep
Guardian: +250 Rep
Vigilante: +500 Rep
Heroes: +1000 Rep

If you are looting and you come across another player then take cover and see what they have equipped. If they don't have much then just kill them anyway, never trust anyone. if they're armed then stay low, it's your choice if you want to attack them or not.
Medication
Important: During a recent update you will now have to wait a time of 20 seconds for using meds. Use 1, wait 20 seconds, use another, wait 20 seconds and so on...

Now when PvPing, it is best to take out any sort of medication with you, such as:
Antibiotics
Painkillers
Bandages
Bandages DX
Energy Drink
Bag MRE
Juice
Can Of Soup
Can Of Tuna

Becoming Infected: When you get hit by a zombie, chances are you will become infected and it make take loads of zombies to hit you before you are infected or it may even take one hit for you to become infected. When infected, you will need to use CO-1 Vaccines or CO-4 Vaccines, the difference between these two are easily noticable.

CO-1 Vaccine: Silver Colour, heals 20% of Infection
CO-4 Vaccine: Gold Colour, heals 100% of Infection

When infected, it will take time for your player to become 100% infected and when this happens, your player will not drop dead right away but you will notice that your player loses health and the little health bar in the corner of the screen will start to change it's colour to green to let you know how much damage the infection has done so far. It is best to use CO-1's as they are easily found and you won't kick yourself as much if you die with one of them on you as you can just go out and search for another with ease.
Doing Regular Loot Runs

One major thing to do in this game is expand your GI (Global Inventory), this means looting Clearview or Smallville or wherever you want to on a daily basis so you can get more guns to PvP with or to do XP Farming to advance through your players Skill Tree or even get supplies such as food and water so when you go to travel long distances, you will have food and drink to survive the run there.
It's always a good idea to loot for Meds as they are very important in this game so loot when you can.
Finally...
I have now mentioned everything I can think of so the only thing left to say is good luck.

I hate to sound like a killjoy but this game is going nowhere. realistic it may be. but this type of realistic doesent put bums on seats. it shoots them and puts them six foot under so many times they get p';;ed off and rage quit. play the demo first guys! you need a learning curve. this game doesent give it a chance to start "curving"
