Territory is important when building your own base. If you build within the areas, you will get events from those factions.
Mainly for personal steam overlay use.

I set up in Sinkuun, besides the cannibals and the roaming skimmer titans its not a bad spot, close enough to send convoys to Shobatai.

you know if clearing out slaver camps stops raids, wanna set up a base in the north of uc while avoiding trader's guild taxes

Is there any way you could include the skin bandit territory, I wanna know where I can build a base without having to worry about them.

SE is hazardous territory. I can confirm that Reavers can invade as far as Sonorous Dark and a Skin Bandit Harvest may happen at the same time. No attacks from Skeleton Bandits in Sonorous Dark while the Empire from the Ashlands have yet to see them in motion. Crab Bandits don't seem to care (probably because I have 1 crab).

ive tried building SE before and it was the craziest thing ive ever done.
ended up having to run away and abandon the base a few times during construction :p
