Description
You were down and out, isn't that how things usually start? This time you’re so down your face might as well be in the gutter. You came to Seattle looking to make a name for yourself. Instead you found yourself here on B Street. You've got both feet in the drek of the streets. There aint no place to go but up or dead. It’s time to get out of this rain.

Welcome to the Echo...

Noir with some humor
For new characters
Nod to blade runner in a what if alternate reality sort of way
45 minutes to an hour of gameplay
Tried to put in something for all classes
Merchants are characters and need to be opened through conversations.

Ongoing bug fixes with latest upload:

New Conversation options with the Janitor

Some grammar fixes

Fixed a scene breaker at the end of the game with the bio pod conversation

Removed scene transition from Plane yard scene. ( Thanks Wanderlust )

Warning at taxi kiosk now if you are not a decker or do not have enough money to hire one. ( Thanks Brian_Morph and juv3nal )

Rescripted Monitoring station scene transition to remove karma exploit. ( Thanks Johnny )

Team conversation on entering End drive scene will not trigger if you are solo

Set Winks noncombatant so she won’t go nutty if you talk to her during Cutter's fight ( Thanks Brian_Morph

Yeah the fix for the bug on the mission with the decker, is described in the above 'discussion' "Cannot access tunnel to warehouse".

Hi there. Big thanks for a greatly built experience. You have my vote for chapter 2, 3 ... or 4 in 1.

The first hour was well built from my perspective. Even with a little lack of interactivity in the surroundings and areas ingame. That doesn't count here now. Your storyplay was what got me hooked.

The beginning, f.e., where I have to dive into that garbage bin. And where I was thinking to better not dive into it because I expected bad talk by the residents. I expected a lot and therefore I had a little bit of a stretched playtime here and there, and I enjoyed it *g. Gladly I can laugh over my casual self. *blush

And that moment with the ATM, where I "d'oh'ed" while getting the first look at the gear from Gav Vin (if I remember the name right).... *g

I am eager to see what will happen with her, I just want to know more about all the reasons behind her adventure and what she's all about.

Therefore: please consider creating the next chapter.

And thanks for this one.

Hi, i got a famous bug:

"Yup, same here, after defeating the security guards and getting the info from the matrix, am stuck in the basement with no way out. Hope it's fixed! Otherwise enjoyed this mod so far."

Great UGC! The writing is great, the start is nothing short of impressive. the down on your luck penniless was well put together; you do kill to get by. in hindsight, it was really short. but excellent, the plot got a mad hook to it, act 2 will come hot and heavy.

- lack of period ponctuation in many lines, seemed lazy on the editor;
- apple jack is hireable, as a naked unarmed troll;
- where did the street bum run to?
- bug to open the underground hatch.

Just finished it, short but very good. Really liked the writing, gives a lot of atmosphere.
One bug I had: choosing the bouncer ork (troll?) guy as a runner only gave me a naked ork without any equipment. Its also a bit easy, as you can hire some good runners.
