If anyone has this problem where the audio just stops working after spawning this might help:

Go to your Documents folder and then -> My Games -> Borderlands Game of the Year -> Config

Once in there, open WillowEngine with notepad and press F3 to open the search window:




Once the search window opens, type bHasVoice and click Find Next.











Once you find that line, replace "true" for "false":






Save the changes and voila.

It somehow fixed my problem so...

Also, if you check launch backup logs:

This solution isn't true for Enhanced Edition by the way it seems, Borderlands Game of the Year connects to the ORIGINAL game, not the Enhanced version from what I can tell
