First steps, where to start
Well, if we miss that error, the first thing is to stay calm, since it is not a ban or anything like that, but because of a conflict of programs, other mistakes, corrupt files and so on.

What we must do first will be to close everything and restart the computer, if it is a simple but effective solution, since with that we will force to restore the services of the pc, if when opening again counter strike global offensive, keep giving the error, let's go to the next solution.
1º check the game cache
If the first release did not take effect, let's move on to the next one, which will check the game's cache, sometimes find corrupt files, other times it says it's too good, but before making "more complex" steps, better start with the easy.

On Steam, you can do this by followign the instructions below:

  • 1. Restart your computer and launch Steam
  • 2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
  • 3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button.
  • 4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

Once that is done, we will reopen the game and test if it works. That the error still persists, keep reading, xD.

2º check conflicting programs / antivirus
If we have any of these programs installed, it will be best to uninstall them to verify that it is not their fault:

  • CCleaner
  • Powershell
  • Sandboxie
  • Cheat Engine
  • IObit Start Menu 8
  • Process Hacker
  • DLL Injectors
  • Hypervisors
  • Steam Idlers

And then there are the antivirus, there are some that have a very closed firewall, which does not allow VAC to do their checks, which would be advisable to deactivate the firewall and see if it works, if so, we will have to create some rules to allow incoming traffic of vac (for example Avast, used to give problems in this).

No need to say, if you have the windows firewall, with it is a lottery, I leave a link to disable it.

Disable Windows Firewall[www.lifewire.com]
3º repair the system & steam service
If you still have not solved the problem, you will have to use other methods and repair the steam system and service (sometimes with steam cleaning, it works).

Repair the Steam Service

The error may also indicate a Steam service failure. Please try repairing the Steam service:

Exit Steam.
Click Start > Run (Windows Key + R).
Type the following command:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\SteamService.exe" /repair
Launch Steam and test the issue again.

Note: This command requires administrator privileges and may take a few minutes. If you have installed Steam to another path, please replace C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam with the correct path.

Restore boot settings to default

Kernel integrity checks, kernel debugging, and Data Execution Prevention (DEP) must be set to default to play on VAC secured servers.

If you receive the following error when entering these commands they are already set to default:

The value is protected by Secure Boot policy and cannot be modified or deleted.

To change boot settings to default please follow the steps below:

Note: If you are running Windows 8 you will need to press Windows Key + X and select Command Prompt (Admin).

  • Exit Steam.
  • Click the Start button, then All Programs, and Accessories.
  • Right-click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator....
  • In the command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:
  • bcdedit /deletevalue nointegritychecks
  • bcdedit /deletevalue loadoptions
  • bcdedit /debug off
  • bcdedit /deletevalue nx
  • Restart your computer.
  • Launch Steam and test the issue again.

Repair system files

There may be corrupt system files that are causing this issue. The following instructions will run a critical system file check on your Windows installation, replacing any missing or damaged files:

Note: If you are running Windows 8 you will need to press Windows Key + X and select Command Prompt (Admin).

  • Exit Steam.
  • Click the Start button, All Programs, and Accessories.
  • Right-click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator....
  • In the command prompt, type the following command and press Enter:
  • sfc /scannow
Once the operation has completed please restart your computer, then launch Steam and test the issue again.

Steam info
4º Clean the download cache + release the ip from the computer
If all the above did not work, the next thing will be to erase steam's download cache, as it could have been something bad downloaded and that's why it is interfering with VAC

Info: this is also usually effective when you do not let update a game.

Clear download cache

After cleaning the cache, we will open a windows / linux console and write the following commands, basically what they do is renew the ip of our equipment, restart the steam service and later repair it (we did it in the previous solution), but without do the above.

Open a prompt and write:
start steam://flushconfig
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew
net stop "Steam Client Service"
net start "Steam Client Service"
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\SteamService.exe" /repair
5º Other methods
- Install directx.
- Update the drivers.
- Run steam as administrator.
- Other methods soon
Gratefulness
Obviously most of the information in this guide is taken from steam, but there are solutions that were said by users who spend their time to resolve doubts / problems, so for all of them a Rush B to thank, for being there helping selflessly.
