No, you aren't. It's the internet, nobody owes you anything. Move on.
When People support (in many different ways) a Mod and have great experiences with it for over a decade or a little less etc, a Mod I might add which has Paradox push back the start date of EUV, one then might argue that this Mod has changed and re-defined EUIV gameplay for most of us (for me surely).
So, yes, we are entitled to a word from the Author and his team considering the future of 1356, simply because we have supported it for so long, fact that it's free holds no bearing on good manners. Besides, why abandon it now that port is insight (eol for IV), have it go out with a blast.
And yes, we've all moved on, unfortunately IV is not the same without 1356.
