No one is forcing you to choose mods that are in your opinion useless, if you feel this one is not for you them move to something else. There are plenty mods to choose from listed at Recommended Mods List

The point is mentioned in mod description - It's an alternative to Butchers Shop (large one).
Smaller building doing the same as larger one and it was requested so I made it.

I may even use it, if I feel my town gets too boring. But definitly will pause the building and not have it produce anything, cause it just burns resources and workers.
If you invest time and material it should pay off. It's hard enough to keep your people alive.
Anyway.. some great mods you did there
in a confined Fort you have another option, choice and above all; another look :)
Butcher's Delicacy = 42 kcal
Takes: 6 Meat (8 kcal each) = 48 kcal
So the raw food yield more kcal than the produced food....
Not even taking the additional matirials into account.
Why would anyone waste ressources and time on making this food if the raw stuff is better?
