Hey guys! I managed to downgrade my game to back when the old skill tree exists, and I wanted to make you guys a new build with it! Turns out Payday 2 had colored icons all along...

The Build

Description

So if you're a veteran who wanted to play Payday 2 before Update 100, or you're a noobie who wanted to see what the game was like back then, either way i'm here to help!

Pros:

So let's begin!

Mastermind

Left
Cable Guy ACED - Increase your supply of cable ties to six and tie hostages faster.
Control Freak ACED - Inside Man for heists such as Big Oil or Bank Heist: Gold

Middle
Equilibrium ACED - Improve our pistols a bit.

Right
Endurance ACED - Run for a whole lot longer for you and your crew.
Leadership ACED - Your crews pistols are better.
Dominator Basic - Incase it's all left to you, dominate a cop and help your team.

Enforcer

Left
Oppressor Basic - Used to get other skills.
Die Hard ACED - Increase our armor recovery rate by a bit and use our primary when we're dying.

Middle
Underdog Basic - Used to get other skills.
Stun Resistance ACED - Especially helpful back then when you would randomly be blinded for no reason in particular.

Right
Transporter ACED - Help your team with faster bag carying, especially useful in White Xmas.
Tough Guy Basic - I had a point to spend so I put it here.

Dead Presidents ACED - Useful on Big Oil Day 1 when clearing out the ATMs at the bottom.
Fast Hands ACED - Further increases our bagging capabilities.
Shinobi Basic - I had point to spend and put it here.

Middle
Sprinter ACED - Sprint faster, longer, and dodge better.

Right
Cat Burglar Basic - I remember back in my day when the second story window at Diamond Store would actually kill you if you fell from there. I learned that the hard way, ever since then I would take Cat Burglar in all of my builds.

Fugitive

Left
Daredevil ACED - Used to get other skills.
Run and Gun Basic - Move faster.
Swan Song ACED - Son, if you strike me down I shall become more powerful then you can possibly imagine, fight for another nine seconds with infinite ammo.
Bullseye Basic - Headshots give additional armor, Keep those helmets flying!

Middle
Hidden Blade ACED - Semi used to get other skills, the basic versions is useful for concealment.
Low Blow Basic - The skill that changed dodge forever, making it actually good, the more concealed you are, the better critical chance you get.
Sneaky Bastard Basic - Sneaky Beaki, more concealment = better dodge.

Right
Thick Skin Basic - I have no idea what steadiness is, Used to get other skills.
Duck and Cover ACED - Useful when in cover trying to recover armor with quick headshots.
Quick Fix ACED - Faster deploy time for First Aid Kits means faster recovery.
Uppers ACED - More first aid kits for even more fast recoveries.
Akimbo ACED - We can now dual wield pistols, meaning we can have really good concealment and deadly weapons, at the cost of destruction of wrists.

Perk Deck

The Perk Deck we will be using is Rogue.

Really back then this was the only dodge perk deck, unless you wanted to use Crook, which back then was terrible, unlike today.

Our weapons will be all base game weapons, however, our mods will be from two DLCs, if you want to see those DLC then go ahead and check requirements under "The Build".

First Aid Kits

Strategy

Preplanning

Make sure to purchase the grenade case, you're probably going to burst through those grenades of yours, Whenever possible make sure to purchase an Inside Man asset.

During the Heist

Run around and shoot good guy cops, when your armor breaks and your health dips below half, drop to cover and take a first aid kit, whenever in the fight, pop headshots to ensure you gain armor so you can stay in the fray longer, you don't have drill skills though, so leave it to your team.

If you find Loose Items around, pick them up and ensure your team knows you have Dead Presidents ACED, and I'm pretty sure your team will appreciate you having team skills like Leadership and Endurcance.

Etc.
