The one thing that comes to mind as a potential fix is reevaluating the backstories so that they extend to the group as a whole; That way when it procs it alters all players instead of one lucky player. I typically play the game with a full group, so am always looking for 4P content

Hi there Necroscourge, unfortunately you are correct. In Fhtagn we use a "content fatigue" system to ensure that stories you haven't seen in a while or not at all, have a greater chance of appearing. This means that mods have a random chance of appearing and can lead to the situation you mentioned above.

Unfortunately we don't have a very good solution for the problem, as all mods could possibly give one person better items or stats over their colleagues or enemies. The only suggestion I can come up with is to play the Thousand Young Cult and all gang up on the poor loser who is making you all look bad! Being sacrificed is often a very good equaliser :D

Alternatively, you can create your own mods (stories) with the provided tool or edit the existing ones to better suit your needs. If you need help on doing that, you can contact us on Fhtagn's Discord and we'll guide you thorugh it.

Does not seem to work properly in games with four players, so one player will end up getting a backstory that makes them far stronger than the others
