How to record in 2 audio tracks

Today you will learn how to record in 2 audio tracks: a microphone and a speaker. When you move a video file into a video editing program, you will have two audio tracks.

Step 1

1. Open "Video Recording
2. File Format: MP4

Step 3

3. Scroll down and at the microphone selection, click "Settings", the icon of the monitor.

4. Check the box "Record microphone into separate audio track".

Do I need 2 different audio tracks? All I want is to simply record my game with it also recording what I'm saying on mic... I get the game sounds but nothing of what I'm saying. Do I need to do this to get my own voice on the recording?

when i do this, and use vegas movie maker, it only brings the audio not the video sadly, but i am able to adjust my recording volume now, just need the video x3
