Zeta Reticuli (Aliens, Prometheus)

Beskrivning
It is within this star system that films Alien (1979), Aliens (1986), and Prometheus (2012) took place; specifically on two of the moons orbiting the gas giant, Calpamos, within the Zeta-2 Reticuli system of planets.

*Data on Calpamos and Acheron (LV-426) have been gathered from the book, Aliens: Colonial Marines Technical Manual by Lee Brimmicombe-Wood (Titan Books 1995). All other data is speculative, but based on references from the films and on data collected from Xenopedia - The Aliens vs. Predator Wiki[avp.fandom.com].

For more information, check out my video: Planetary Anomaly: LV-426.

The two stars of the Zeta Reticuli are not located in the center of a single system. They are separated by around 3,750 AU. They each have a system of planets of their own. That said, stable circumbinary systems--a system with two stars at its center--is indeed possible. However, at the distances that the planets have to orbit in order to remain stable, they are not expected to be habitable to human life.

5 other planets in the system around 2 stars, now that is very Deadly to any life in the system
If the 2 stars where in the centre of said system the gravity between the 2 stars with each one pulling on the planets that could send them to into the stars or in a collision course with each other
or flying into the universe so this system is unstable
for it to have good orbits is a 1/50 a good chance.
The age is ???,???,???,??? years old :steamsalty:

Zeta Reticuli is actually TWO stars. And I'm only familiar with it being referenced in one alien abduction case, that of Betty and Barney Hill, circa 1961.

Zeta Reticuli Is Actually A Real Star, And Is Rumored To Be The Home System Of The Gray Aliens In Most Abduction Cases
