Jackass

Jackass is a character who can hold up to 4 active items, but can't fire tears normally. He has a playstyle based around collecting and using active items. This character may start off weak but has the potential to become very powerful in unique ways. It's not just about finding the best items; you may find that active items that you would normally reroll or quickly exchange for another become your bread and butter.

IMPORTANT: This mod isn't quite finished. Aside from a few bugs, the core functionality is complete and functions as you would expect it to, but the character's balance isn't polished enough yet. For now, I recommend playing the challenges instead of playing the normal game as the character, unless you enjoy having to constantly wait for Isaac's Tears to charge up all the way until you find another item. As for regular gameplay, I need to find a way to make it more fun like possibly buffing the tear rate, damage, giving another item, buffing Isaac's Tears, or giving Worn Battery a character-exclusive buff like Eve. (I don't want to make Isaac's Tears so good that he would end up never using another item. Also don't want to give him another starting item that he would hold on to for too long unless it's to replace Isaac's Tears)

While it's mostly compatible with True Co-Op I disabled the ability to select Jackass because of a few more bugs, chief among them that the blindfold doesn't work. There may also be some bugs with certain active items from other mods.

Worn Battery: Starting item for Jackass, shop pool for other characters
This item is the Lusty Blood of The Battery. If you're an Isaac veteran you know what I mean, but otherwise you'll find out once you get into a boss fight. Since it's so worn out, it only works during boss fights, but it means Jackass can be free to use more than just Isaac's Tears.

White Jackass: An alternate form of Jackass. His stats are the same but active items cannot generate from pools when playing as this version of Jackass. Jackass becomes White Jackass upon reaching Sheol, Cathedral, or The Shop, unless his tail has fallen off.

A sequel to the original Beans! challenge where instead of relying on bombs, you have every bean in Afterbirth+ at your disposal.

Megalomania
Character: White Jackass
Active items: Mega Blast x4
Passive items: The Mind, Mr. Mega, Sharp Plug, Key Pieces 1 and 2
No treasure rooms
Goal: Mega Satan (Dark Room)
Much trickier than it would seem at first, this challenge starts you off with 4 Mega Blasts, but you take damage every second you don't use Mega Blast. Don't forget to pick up The Negative!

Tips:

• Press a shoot direction to switch items (or determine which slot an item will go in when you pick one up)
  
• There is a way to rearrange your items. Hold two opposite shoot directions until your item glows and then press the active-tiem key. While the active-item key is held you can swap your current item into another slot. If you double-tap the current slot you can also rotate all your items. Let go of the active-item key once you're done rearranging your items.
  
• As long as Jackass has his tail attached there is a higher chance of finding active items in treasure rooms. If it works you will hear a sound (edited from this source[www.orangefreesounds.com])
  
• This may become more of a hindrance than a help, so you can lose the tail by getting hit without having an item that keeps it on (like Push Pin). It will also fall off if you pick up an item that gets rid of your butt.
  
• White Jackass's tail is purely cosmetic and doesn't fall off.
  
• If you find other items to serve as a reliable offense you may be able to get away with trading Isaac's Tears for another fourth active item.
  
• Telepathy for Dummies is a crutch. It doesn't synergize with many items other than Isaac's Tears, so if you run out of room this should probably be the first item you let go of.
  
• Bookworm doesn't work with Isaac's Tears though books are still very good items to have in general.
  
• Remember that big rooms give 2 charge and so you can definitely use your 2-charge items here.
  
• Don't gulp Broken Remote or step on 1/6 pip dice rooms.
