In KotOR 2 he's not shiny at all, he gets this more damaged texture and the blue parts are very faded.
I can make something if you like, for example no blue - no damaged look - shiny... chrome dome :)
I'd be cool to see a basic chrome-retexture, actually. You can kinda see the markings on the original T3 texture if you look closely. It looks like T3 was originally dark grey lines on light grey. (wasn't it different in KOTOR1?)
I get how it can be confusing, this mod swaps the textures of the two. So with this mod, not only does T3 gets the look of T1, but T1 also gets the look of T3.
The picture confuses me more than the mod description. The mod description is fine :P but its a nice mod regardless.
Now all I need is a mod that upscale the armor and clothing to HD textures to go with my backdrop mods, my weapons retexture, my effects retexture, etc. XD
This mod works just fine. T1-N1 is the yellow coloration, not the grey. The pictures and labelling for this mod seem to be the other way around, but T3-M4 is grey, and gets that nice shiny coat of paint you see on the left, its not a reversion, its an improvement.
It looks gorgeous. For any who still play KOTOR 2 and are looking at this mod I can tell you with certainty its worth it. If you still don't like it you can always unsubscribe and T3 will revert back to the ugly grey original texture :P
