Description

It is 429 AD. The Vandals, a warlike Germanic people, have been forced out of their Northern European homeland and so migrated south into the ailing Western Roman Empire. Their desire for a new home, combined with their appetite for raiding and plundering, has driven them all the way to Northwest Africa, where they will eventually carve out a kingdom of their own...

For real, though, this is a custom battle recorded from the game Total War: Attila, with the two factions in the battle being the Vandals and the Garamantes (the latter chosen to represent the native African population). Here I was using a mod I created myself called "African Units Reskin", which you can download from the Steam Workshop @ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1602183078.

The opening drumbeat loop comes from freesound.org. You can download it @ https://freesound.org/people/Timbre/sounds/109953/.

As for the artwork appearing at the opening, I drew it myself a year ago. Check it out on my official website @
