A boreal shoreline with an appealing haven for your township nestled behind a small bay in a river gorge. Lots of ore in the mountains and rich soil in the valley. Planes and boats are a dime a dozen, but there's only one highway in (and it's currently under construction.)

note: if you do not like building around water this may not be the map for you. there are lots of waterways with strong and fast currents.
