This is my first attempt at modding so just bear with me.
This mod is in it Alpha stage and I'm looking for people to help me find and fix bugs.
Does anyone remember the White Witch from The Chronicles of Narnia? She had a staff that could turn anyone to stone.
In Skyrim the Ice Form shout reminded me of this power and I thought it would be cool to be able to freeze foes like the White Witch (or atleast somewhat like that I'm not near good enough to change the textures to make it look like stone).
I also started to think why would being encased in ice cause damage? Yes I know hypothermia, exposure, but thats not what this mod is about. If you want cold effects then download Frostfall. (Link below.)
This mod looks at Ice Form from a more cryogenic stand point.
Basically this mod changes the Ice Form shout in three ways.
1. It removes the damage aspect from the last word of Ice Form. (This seems to disable the damage completely when the full shout is used)
2. It shortens the cool down time for each word dramatically, making the shout overpowered.
3. It dramatically increases the amount of time the target is encased in ice when all three words are used.
This mod is not lore friendly at all and is pretty much a cheat.
The mod DOES NOT cause the target to freeze in place. That is another mod. (Link below.) It should not be required for this mod to work.
There are glitches that I have found, but I'm not good enough at modding to find and fix the problems, so I'm looking for people willing to help me find and fix them.
These include:
-target sometimes disappears leaving an icy cloud in mid air.
-target appears to be where the player froze them, but is not counted as 'there'. If a weapon is used on the image it will pass right through as if nothing is there.
-after a target that has been frozen dies the image stays standing, sitting, whatever they were doing when they were frozen.
These seem to be the only glitches I have found so far. Please leave comments so that I can attempt to improve it.
